Ridiculous claim

“I have heard of something interesting recently. Mind clarifying it?”

Hearing that voice out of nowhere almost started Seraphine into dropping the croissant off her hand. As she raised her head, she stared at Kayden in front of her and frowned.

“Since when did you have the habit of sneaking up on others?” Seraphine questioned.

Kayden extended his hand towards her and pressed on to the creases that formed between both of her eyebrows. This lead Seraphine to smoothen her forehead.

“I wasn’t planning do so until I learned someone was encouraged by me to confess,” Kayden vocalized.

Honestly, Kayden didn’t think much of it, other than Seraphine wanting to make a fool out of Eli. However, he did want to observe various faces she would make once caught red-handed.
