The beast's point of view

For Aeryes, a splitting headache made it hard for him to open his eyes and get a clear view of his surroundings. A groan escaped from his lips at the intense pain, and opening his eyes slowly, he saw the figure of Seraphine standing in front of her. It was too blurry for him to make out the expression on his face.

Slowly, the situation was starting to sink into her. He was in that dream when he suddenly felt that pain and wanted to leave immediately. What happened after that was that he had completely blacked out, and he couldn’t remember following that. Now that he had opened his eyes, he was in this basement.

He could feel that his limbs were restrained, and infuriated by them, he did try to break free of them, only to realize that was impossible. It appeared that his powers were being suppressed, and his physical strength was too low for him to get him out of here.
