Chapter 167

Eric looked at Amanda and then at Gabriel. He lacked what to say as they had taken him by surprise. He wasn't expecting her to show up after what happened.

He asked them to sit down, which they did before he started walking toward the fridge to get them wine. He came back with a bottle of wine and two glasses, which he placed on the center table and asked them to help themselves.

"I know you were taken by surprise by our coming. We came to help after we heard what happened," Gabriel said.
