"Mr. Adams, we are sorry but we have no choice but to put your son on probation for the next two weeks to caution his behavior," "Thank you, we will be taking our leave now," Dragging James from the corner, Eric walked out with his son. He had been in his office celebrating his recent contract when he received a call from his son's school that his presence was needed. It has now become a frequent occurrence where he will be summoned to his son's school, James, for misbehaving. On reaching the school, he was ushered to the headteacher's office where he met his son standing quietly by the wall. If you don't look closely, you won't notice the figure standing there, he had a little bandage on his nose. He could only glare hard at the young lad, who equally glared back at him though not menacing as his father's, "Welcome, Mr. Adams," the principal greeted, gesturing for him to have a seat. "What's the problem?" Eric asked straight to the point not wanting to waste too much time. "Yo

Sitting in front of her laptop after returning from her outing, Amanda immediately sent the resume to the email Mrs. Robinson had given her.She stood up and walked to her small kitchen to prepare her dinner. After eating, she went to her laptop to check if she got a reply yet but to her surprise, the reply had been sent to her email in less than thirty minutes, stating the time and venue of the interview. Sleeping was something Amanda found had to do with knowing she had an Interview the next day. Standing up, she walked to and fro in her room. She had never been a private tutor before and had no idea which kind of question would be asked during the interview."What kind of questions are they going to ask? What if they don't find me suitable?' All sorts of thoughts kept running through her head.Going to her small reading table beside her bed, Amanda opened her laptop and started searching for possible qualifications for a private tutor. She was getting different answers which were

Picking up a notepad and a marker from the table Amanda and James began drafting out a routine that they would be following."Where did you learn to play video games," James implored Amanda still fascinated by her ability to beat him"Let's focus on your timetable first," Amanda pulled James to sit down beside her.The butler had prepared the lounge for them and had also arranged everything they would be needing"Lunch is ready," a maid said, interrupting them. Looking at the two interacting with each other, the maids were surprised by his enthusiasm toward his new teacher.Everyone in the mansion is aware of his harsh attitude to all his previous teachers, even the maids have to be extra careful around him, or they will be losing their jobs. After the miss had proposed a game, they thought she would face the gate as the others who didn't last a day. But to say the least, everyone was shocked when the young master lost at the last minute.Amanda and James were spending their time tog

Entering the building Amanda was met with the butler and Mrs. Robinson in the discussion."Morning Mr. Derrick, Morning Mrs. Robinson," "Morning dear, how was your night?" Mrs. Robinson greeted back while the butler only gave a Curt nod"It was fine , and how is my little Nina?""She's good," Mrs. Robinson responded."Is James still asleep?" Amanda inquired, looking at his room's direction."I don't think so, he might be up by now," the Butler Derrick replied."I'm going to him now," and with that Amanda made her way up to James's room.Standing at the door Amanda knocked lightly on it "Are you awake James?""Yes I am," James shouted in response after hearing the voice.Opening the door Amanda made her way inside the room, in front of the TV was James seated on a bean bag playing video games, even though Amanda entered the room he did not remove his eyes from it, all his attention was on it.Beside him was a pen and paper with nothing written on it."It's not nice to play video games

Amanda stood with Eric, both of them staring at each other. Amanda doesn't want to invite him in but Eric wants to go in at least to know what her house looks like.Their eyes met and they both looked away. Eric tried to say something but found words stuck in his throat. He cleared his throat which made Amanda tense. "I have to take my leave now," Eric said, scratching his head and feeling awkward like a high school boy visiting his crush's house for the first time."Okay… I'm sorry I didn't invite you in," Amanda apologized which made Eric barely smile. He just nodded and turned to walk back to his car. He stole a glance at Amanda who stood there looking at him before entering his car and driving off.Amanda heaved a sigh of relief, wondering why Eric suddenly wanted to be invited into her house. As she got in she studied around and shook her head. It was nowhere to be compared to his mansion so she didn't think he would end up being comfortable in it.She sighed as she slumped on t
