Chapter Thirty-seven

"Wife, please go inside first."

Eugene's voice is tense as he gently pushes me inside. My gaze unintentionally landed on the box on the ground as I entered the unit. When I saw the small white paper, I stopped walking inside, and my entire body shivered as I read what was written on it.

'I heard you're pregnant?' Congratulations! '

It's a congratulatory message; I should be happy, but I'm scared because the message was written with a red stain; is it blood? true blood?
