WHERE IS SHE?!

As Daniel had expected, Quirino was waiting for him in his study.

Daniel stood frozen in the doorway, stared at Quirino's back which was turned away from him, stared at his row of medical books, but it seemed that he was only doing that so that he would have something to do.

Because even though Quirino heard the sound of the study door opening and closing and Daniel's footsteps echoing in the empty room, he remained unmoved and still did not turn around.

Even though the conversation hasn't started and Quirino still refuses to look at him, Daniel knows and understands that the six months that have passed have not changed anything about Quirino and his feelings for Morana.

"Quirino," said Daniel who then walked over to his brother. He stopped just a few steps away from him, not sure if he should approach him any closer.
