In her black dress covering her knees, she laid back on the bed with her hands thrown on either side. Her brows caressed with each other as her hand gripped her forehead in pain. Ever so slowly she tried to open her eyes fighting against the pain. Once she was fully conscious she looked around the room and sat up slowly on the bed. The room was dark with a dim light enough visible to figure out silhouettes but not see the objects. She was tucked under the fluffy cotton-like blanket giving her warmth from the AC. In the dark room, lazy footsteps echoed as he walked to the tufted chair and sat down staring at her while swirling the glass of wine. Sipping the drink he rested his hands on the armchair as he leaned back crossing his leg on the other. The room lit up as the sunlight peeked in through the gap of the window curtain litting up the room faintly.
