Chapter 5

A tray of tea was set on the tea pie as a slender hand took the cups out of the tray and passed it to her aunt and uncle. They accepted it. She snapped her eyes at him as she looked at him suspiciously and then at her aunt who was sipping her tea. Averting her eyes to the tray she took one cup for herself and leaned back.

"What is the purpose of your visit here"?

Adhira asked her aunt and now there is the undivided attention of her aunt on Adhira.

" Should we have some purpose "?

Her aunt tilted her neck to the shoulder with her brows raised in a questioning manner. Adhira kept her expressions nonchalant to keep her cool.

"I guess yes. After all, you got to know my address out of nowhere. Who gave you my address". Adhira kept her tone and voice in check but there was bitterness in the back of her throat.
