LOGIN“Get whatever you want, I’m paying.” Mr. Blackwell said not looking up from his menu, I looked up at him, my eyes widening.
This place was really much nicer than I could afford, I let out a small sigh of relief that he would be footing the bill.
“Okay,” I said with a nod before picking up my water glass and taking a sip, the ice clinked against the walls of the stemmed glassware and I grimaced. It sounded louder than it should have, I looked up but Mr. Blackwell wasn’t watching me. He stared down at his phone his thumbs moving fast as he sent a message.
“Sorry about that,” he said tucking his phone into the pocket of his charcoal jacket with a small smile.
“It’s no problem Sir,” I said with a smile I hoped didn’t look nervous, he still hadn’t told me why he had invited me to lunch. I had my hands clasped in my lap to keep from fidgeting with my hair or straightening my clothing out one more time.
“Amelia,” he said that voice again and I felt shivers go down my spine, “I want you to call me Marcus.”
“Yes Sir, I mean yes Marcus.” I could feel the blush heating up my face and it made me hate being a redhead, I wished it was something I could control. Mr. Blackwell was smiling at me now, and I raised my eyebrow at him.
“I like the way you say my name,” he smirked at me and I bit my lip. Was my boss interested in me?
“I’m not sure what to say,” I said as I tucked a strand of hair behind my ear and looked up at him.
“I like when you call me Sir, as well.” He said steepling his fingers under his chin. “I find you interesting Amelia and I want to get to know you better.”
“Oh, um. What would you like to know Mr- Marcus?” I asked catching myself before I called Mr. Blackwell again.
“How about we start with the easy stuff?” He asked studying me intently, “Are you seeing anyone?”
The waitress came saving me from answering for a moment as she took our order, I could tell from the way she touched Mr. Blackwell’s arm that she was interested in him. He paid her no mind at all, barely glancing away from me as he placed his order. I wasn’t used to that, having someone focus on me that intensely. I didn’t know how I felt as a sexy smirk played across his lips.
“No, I’m not.” Was this a date? No it couldn’t be a date, Mr. Blackwell wouldn’t ask me on a date. Not that I wouldn’t mind, he was handsome and from what I had heard very much into the same types of things I enjoyed, at least in the bedroom. But someone was handsome as him wouldn’t ask me on a date, I wasn’t a knock out or anything but I knew I could turn a few heads with my long legs and curvy waist.
No, I needed to stop thinking like this. He probably just wanted to talk about the company he would be absorbing soon and just needed someone to bounce ideas off of.
That had to be it.
I needed a dom that was outside of work, although inside of work could be good too. All of the places he could take me filtered through my mind and I bit my lower lip imagining as he took me over his knee.
“Count for me.” He would say in the voice.
I shook my head trying to shake off the thought. Nope, that would be an HR nightmare not to mention all the gossip in the break room. Oh god, I had been quiet for too long and he probably thought I was a weirdo.
“What did you say Sir,” I asked looking up at him trying to put on my most innocent face, as if I hadn’t been thinking about getting spanked over his knee.
“I asked if you were free this evening after work?” He asked.
“I am, why?” I breathed out, he just needed me to work late that was it her wasn’t going to ask me on a date.
“Good, we have a date tonight.” he stated as he picked up his water glass and took a sip.
Oh my god, he was asking me on a date or more like telling me we had a date. The submissive in me perked up at his words and I had the urge to tell my libdo to stop it that I needed to think.
“We do?” I asked biting my lip, what was I going to wear? I nervously ran my hands across my skirt, I could feel my palms getting sweaty at the thought.
“We do, I’ll pick you up at half past eight.” He smirked at me as he sat down his water glass, it didn’t make a sound as he did so.
Our food was served and that kept me from talking for awhile as my mind ran wild with ideas of what tonight could bring.
Chapter Fifty-OneLouis nipped and kissed at my neck and I felt him pull his fingers away from my clit. I wanted to grab his fingers. To put them back where I needed him to keep touching me. It felt so good and I knew that if he had kept it up, I would have come apart for them so quickly. Too quickly, but we had time. Well, at least another forty-five minutes or so. Which was more than enough time if we were quick. “Fuck her with your fingers. I want to watch you touch our mate more.” Marcus growled and I looked down into his glowing black eyes. My breath caught in my throat. How could he make me so turned on just by ordering our mate to fuck me with his fingers for his pleasure and mine? Louis moved two fingers against my opening and I whimpered as he slid them inside of me. His thumb moved to work my clitoris as he worked his fingers in and out of my body. His lips moved against the sweet spot beneath my ear where I bore his mark. The spot where he had sank his teeth into me so
Chapter Fifty“Marcus.”“Amelia, you are mine. Maybe one day they will get to meet me as your mate. But if they don’t, that’s okay too. It’s enough for me that you are mine, that you are ours.” His words were soft, but I could feel through the bond that we shared how much he meant it. Marcus stroked his hands up the back of my legs, dragging his palms up my skirt so that they were flat against the outside of my thighs. Goosebumps prickled at my skin and I felt my nipples tighten into hard peaks. Being so close to him and Louis did things to my libido. This was where everything had all started with them. When the council had shown up here and Marcus and Louis had told me the truth about what they were. It had led me on the path to finding out about my true self and falling in love with them. I brought my hand up, caressing the side of Marcus’ face. His face was still all those hard lines, but I knew how they felt. How every part of his body felt, how it moved when he was inside of m
Chapter Forty-NineAmelia didn’t say anything, but her stomach rumbled loudly. Her cheeks flushed and she stood up, picking up her tea. Pushing the chair under her desk, she walked around until she was beside me. “I could eat.”I held my hand out to her and she took it, her fingers gelding along my palm. Threading our fingers together, I pulled her towards Marcus’ office. The door was partially open and I knew that Marcus was waiting for us. My heart beat faster as I pushed the door open, letting Amelia step inside in front of me. Marcus was sitting at his desk, waiting for the two of us. He looked just as good as he had this morning before we had left for the office. Not a single dark hair was out of place, he had shed his jacket sometime during the morning. His sleeves were rolled up and my breath caught as I took in the runes that marred his forearms. There was something so sexy about him when he was like this. His dark eyes met mine and he nodded his head towards the coffee tabl
Chapter Forty-EightMarcus: She seems okay. Don’t worry so much, I can feel it when you do. I was just checking if you knew what was up with her. Louis: I’m trying but it’s hard. I haven’t talked to her since she texted us good morning.Marcus: I know my love. Take a deep breath. We’ll be together soon. If you would like to run an errand for me, I’m ordering lunch from the deli for us.Louis: I could do with some fresh air. Marcus: Good, after you get lunch, come up to my office. I’ve got a surprise for you. I smirked to myself. Marcus thought he was being sneaky and distracting me with surprises. But I knew what he was doing. I moved my fingers over the screen, pecking out a response. The phone dinged before I could set it down.Marcus: You know me so well. My smile deepened and I felt some of my worry melt at the order to come to his office. Standing up, I tucked my phone into my jacket pocket before walking around my desk. I made my way down the short hallway, stopping in front
Chapter Forty-SevenSo much had changed since then. Yet, so much had stayed the same. I still wanted him just as much as I had on that first day when he had called me into his office. Only now I was his. I finished making his drink, placing it onto the silver tray before taking it into his office and sitting it on his desk. Rushing back to my desk, I picked up the notepad before bringing it into the office and sitting it beside his drink. Pulling out a pen, I jotted a note down at the bottom. Turning away, I made my way back to my desk to look over his schedule and make sure there was nothing that I needed to change. The door to the elevator chimed and I looked up. Watching my mate come into view, my breath caught in my throat. All thoughts of anxiety and morning sickness faded away as I took in how he was dressed. He was wearing a slate gray suit that seemed to hug his body in all the right places. His black leather shoes had been polished and everything about him screamed sexines
Chapter Forty-Six“Sin, I like working. Your shop is yours. You don’t need my help.” “Can’t blame me for wanting to spend more time with you.” Sin said, letting me step away from him. “I love you too. Try to stay out of trouble today. I’ve got to get to work.” I said, turning towards the entrance of the alleyway. “Spoiling all my fun today.” Sin said, walking with me. “Be good for me, yeah.”“Sin.” I growled, looking over at him as we made our way onto the sidewalk. “Yeah, yeah. I’ll see you tonight.” He said, shooting me a wink before walking off in the opposite direction of the entrance of the office building. I shook my head, making my way towards the gleaming doors of the office building. I stepped inside, smoothing my hand down over my black slacks. My kitten heels clicked on the marble tiles as I made my way to the front desk. Charlotte had taken Boston’s place. Her black hair was twisted back away from her face and she looked striking with her dark cat like eyes. Her bla
