Solane

A sharp pain stinged my cheeks as soon her hand left my face. My lips curled into a mocking smile, while I raised my head slowly, enough for her to see my face clearly.

“You wretch!” She gritted, her eyes almost popped out of their sockets.

I let out a defiant laugh, “Did I hit a nerve?” I shot back.

She stepped closer to me, closing the little distance between us, leaning into my ear, “You seemed to have grown a thick skin, huh?” A slow, dangerous smirk curved her. “I don't waste my time on hopeless wrench like you. Be ready to face whatever comes your way.”

My hands clenched by my side as she stepped aside, her eyes gleaming with cruelness as she turned to leave. I watched her back as she walked away, bracing myself from whatever she had up her sleeves.

I was about to turn to the kitchen direction when I caught a glimpse of someone standing or hiding behind a pillar watching me from a little distance. I had caught a wave of someone watching from behind even before Tonia sl

SolanePanic tugged at the strings of my heart as I became conscious of my surroundings after some moment of blackout. ‘Where am I?’ I said internally. My eyelids fluttered slightly, taking in another amount of darkness, the veil used to blindfold me and the tight rope around my wrist made me wince in pain. The thought of being kidnapped again flashed through my mind, making me fidget. “She’s awake,” a rouged voice said, alerting the others. They have been keeping their eyes on me. There was silence for a moment before I felt rough hands grip me by my dress making me sit up. “Who are you?” I demanded, though my voice betrayed me with a slight, unwanted tremble.A low croaked laughter erupted from his lips, sharp enough to freeze my blood. “You won't want to know who we are. If you do, you won't ever survive here.‘Oh.. lord! Is this how I would get killed?’ The question echoed in my head as my breath came shallow. But then his response shows that they weren't going to kill me.“S

Marcello The rapid beat of my heart echoed in my ears as I increased the speed of my car, my hands tightened around the wheels as the voices in my head wouldn't stop. My phone rang, cutting through the tensed air, it immediately connected to Bluetooth.“Riso, are there any updates?” I asked, tension threading my voice.“I was about to call you, boss,” he said, his voice tight with urgency.I exhaled deeply, a glimmer of hope crept into my heart, “I'm on my way,” I replied with a steady breath, my heart lifting.I stepped on the gas, zooming into the distance and in no time I got to the casino. “Boss,” My men who were on guard, bowed their heads slightly in salute as I entered the casino. The casino wasn't bubbling during the day as it runs mainly at night. I couldn't answer the other salutes thrown my way as my heartbeat with curiosity at the update Riso had for me.I pushed my office door open, taking a long stride towards Riso who stood at the center with some documents in his hands.

Solane Panic rose in my chest as I could hear Marcello's footsteps approaching, my hands clutched the phone tightly not knowing where to hide it. My fingers brushed my hair backwards in fear, then mistakenly pressed the shower button, making the shower turn on, warm water splashed on me, worsening it.I got away from the water while my eyes darted to every corner of the bathroom, searching for an unnoticeable corner to hide the phone. Just when I saw his frame through the dim glass door an idea dropped in my mind, I grabbed the toilet paper on the bathroom shelf and wrapped the phone in it then hid it behind the toiletries. My heart was in my mouth as Marcello opened the door, stepped under the shower and hugged me from behind. I held my breath as he tilted his head on my neck. “That was so close.”I sucked in breath as I felt his grip tightened around me like I'm going to slip away if he didn't hold me tightly.******I could finally breathe after he exited the bathroom, I rested my

Marcello“Stay inside. No matter what you hear, you mustn't come out,” the familiar but vague voice of father commanded Marcella and I. Then we were kept hidden away in a wall cupboard that was a mimic to the wail painting, making it hard for people to notice.“Don't be scared. I will come get you two when this is over,” Enzo Jnr, my elder brother said, though the tremble in his voice betrayed the fear he refused to show.Marcella and I held hands together as the door was shut against us. It was dark inside the cupboard and only our breath could be held except for the faint sound of gunshot which made us shake in fear.Despite being a Mafia child, Father didn't expose us to his world early because he wanted us to have the best childhood like other children. Though we were aware of what he does, he made sure that we don't get entangled in violence.Marcella, my twin sister, had always acted like the older one, even though I was the first to enter the world. Even in that tiny cupboard sh

Solane I stood up sultryly, letting my hands trail his body seductively, feeling every reaction going through his body. My lips met his again, letting him taste himself as our lips engaged in a rough movement, gliding, and sucking until we both gasped for breath. The hungry desire in Marcello's eyes was unmistakable, he held me so tightly, hands all over my body, smooching my ass while he seeks to have a taste for my lips but I have more on my sleeve than just kiss.A wide smile played on my lips, as I pulled him by the hand, making him to stand up from the table, pulling him by the hand then with a little push, he fell back into the armchair behind his table.I locked my gaze with his as I left my hands trail my body, moving with precision as they caressed my cupped breast, a soft gasp escaped my lips as my own touch ignited sparkles all through. His eyes narrowed immediately, darkened and filled with desire, following every move of my hand over my body.My hand slid down to my wais
