LOGINThe following day, Seth turns up with Vali at lunchtime. She tries to ignore him, and eventually he seems to give up a bit, poking at the fireplace with a log. She and the Phoenix had been practising with fire at night, she could now control it at a distance. She’s tempted to make a spark fly to his trousers and set them alight. But she doesn’t want to see him with fewer clothes on. She chuckles to herself, and he glares at her.
Vali was reading another book aloud, ‘Childhood Memories’ by Ion Creangă. It wasn’t overly interesting as plots go, a memoir of sorts, but apparently it was considered a good book by a lot of people. They hadn’t gotten that far into it yet, maybe it gets more interesting later on. Seth seems annoyed at Vali being accepted company and him not. She finishes eating and lays down, closing her eyes to listen to Vali’s soothing voice. Seth storms off after a while.
“He’s really not patien
Kai looks over Eliza’s shoulder, resting a hand on her waist,“Woah, that’s a nifty little thing.” She nods,“Dom is a wonder.” He chuckles, “I forgot to charge it too often, so he made me a super-fast charger. They became a part of the standard mission kits shortly afterwards.” He kisses the top of her head, and she turns it on, dropping the charger into the bag and shoving the phone into her bra. “Right, back downstairs.” They exit the lift and Kai drops the bag off with Merlin, who raises an eyebrow but smirks as they walk on to Dim’s office.Dim and Dom are both in here, and they stand up taller when she enters. Dim inclines his head and goes over to two duffle bags towards the back of the room.“These are your weapons, and a few things that Connor mentioned after our meeting this morning.” She smirks and nods.“Thanks, Dim.” Dom holds out the cloned phone
Kai growls appreciatively and nods. Eliza releases his arm and leans back more, spreading her legs as far as they can go. He shakes his head slightly and adjusts himself to slide his whole hand into her. She can feel all of his fingers as they curl inside her, she jerks a little and he puts his free hand on her hip,“Don’t fall off, Baby.” She whines, and nods, trying to grind on him but can’t he’s too deep and his wrist is too thick. It feels so fucking good though, and she tries to relax as he continues. The pressure in her core is building fast and she grips the edge of the counter groaning, “That’s it, good girl, you’re taking this so well. If I’d known we could have been doing this, I’d have fisted you before this.” He makes a fist inside her, and adjusts so he can move more.He starts slowly, pulling out a bit then going back in. After a minute of this he’s gliding easily, her arousal lubrica
Kai has left and Charlie is finishing up on the computer before Dom comes and packs it up to move. Eliza makes her way to the lift and heads up, there are a lot of people moving around with boxes and bags and so on. She makes her way to her room then remembers that she doesn’t have the keycard. She shakes her head, and goes to the door. Dom had thought that far ahead, and the card reader opens and there’s a number pad to insert the code. She taps the code in and opens the door, she flips the lights on. It wasn’t dark but it feels better with the lights on. She walks over to the cribs, and runs her hands over them. They are more beautiful than she’d thought, she’d seen the photos before the kidnapping, three almost identical cribs, each made mostly from ebony, with the flat panels of the sides made from ziricote wood, which is grey with striking black lines running the length of the panels following the grain of the wood. The cribs are suspended from turned spindles mad
Kai can’t get his mind off of the things he wants to do to Eliza now she’s back. But he sighs and gets up and clears the table, and does the washing up while Ash and Eliza chat. After a few minutes she comes up to him in the kitchen leaning against the sink so he has to look at her. She raises an eyebrow, he sighs,“Sorry. Did you want me for something?” She licks her lips and chuckles, and he smiles at her, “I mean, I’m game for fun. But we do have some things to do yet today, and Charlie and the kids are coming back here too.” She nods,“That wasn’t what I came in here for.” He laughs and nods. “I came to ask if you’d come with me back to the Guild House. Ash wants to stay and keep an eye on Vali and Connor. Claire is staying too; she wants to go fly around the castle and see what she can find out. Serena wants to get some medical stuff for the babies, so it’s the four of us heading back, with Merlin obviously. Unless, you have something else you’d rather do today.”
Vali tilts his head at Eliza and eventually nods,“You are worthy of being followed. I would choose you over her. I would see Seth face justice, ideally death, but I will accept your orders regarding him.” She narrows her eyes,“I know you value your Master, more than most of the rest of world does. Will you be able to stay loyal to us, if she could bring him back to you?” He frowns, then smirks,“He is already dead, maybe he should stay dead. I valued him at the time, but you have shaken my faith in him, reminding me of my wife and child. She would not be proud of the man I was under him, maybe she could be of the man I could become under your leadership.” She nods, and looks up at Kai,“Thoughts?” He sighs,“I think it’s worth a shot, maybe he can help us get the surveillance into the castle, especially if they don’t know he’s changed sides.” She nods,“Any
“Little One! I feel you, it’s faint but I know you’re here. Please talk to me?” He has a thick Turkish accent, and skin the colour of rich gravy. He’s six-foot-three, muscular, barrel chested, and his arm and leg muscles would put most body builders to shame. His head is shaved and he has wide full lips and a wide Nubian nose. His round eyes are black, and he has short stubble, shaved with straight lines. But his eyes look sunken, like he’s ill.Eliza sighs and grabs a blanket to wrap around herself before going for the door. Kai puts a hand on her shoulder, she looks up at him,“I won’t tell him anything I don’t have to, but I need to talk to him. He was my protector, my comforter while I was there, right up until that last day, but I could see how much he hated doing what she made him do.” She shudders and he pulls her closer “Please, trust me.” He nods and sighs,“We’ll stay q
