Mag-log in#Red_Darkling_Castle
"All hail the Alpha King!"
The head pack guard at the entrance made a loud announcement, alerting everyone that their king was entering after a victorious event. The Moon-Eyed Pack accepted their defeat according to the decision, made by Alpha Artemis. They couldn't afford to lose any more pack members. The damage had gone beyond control already.
Rafe stepped in, his chest rising heavily in anger. All Alpha Kings follow some strange protocols including the part that they are bound to allow their opponents to prove themselves. If it wasn't because of his protocols, he would have demolished the entire Moon-Eyed Pack from the Earth.
All of his pack members had their heads bowed down. It was against the rule to keep their heads high in the presence of their Alpha King. Nevertheless, he had bad manners along with a hot temper.
Angelina, the favorite mistress of Rafe stared at the entrance with a tight smile on her face. She held a high place in the castle because only she was the girl who was asked twice to get on his bed after his mate's death. Hence, the castle envisioned her as the next queen of Red Darkling. Her eyes followed behind his back, scrutinizing him slightly in confusion.
Seraya was dragging the captive behind him. Covered in painful iron chains, Cohen was pushing her inside the courtroom. The scene shocked everyone including the rich clothes on Seraya's body. Before turning into a prisoner, she was the precious princess of Moon Eyed Pack, the next leading female Alpha of their pack, next online after Alpha Artemis. Even though they had their doubts crawling inside, no one dared to speak in front of Rafe.
Seraya kept sinking her teeth further, deeper into her bottom lips until they turned red. After she was whipped back into her valley, her body became painful. Each time, the chain moved around her body, she had a feeling of skin getting torn off. But she had to keep her cries down. If Rafe figured out that she was painting, he would do it more to send her to hell.
Rafe marched over his irony throne, meeting Angelina midway to hear her exciting voice,
" Congratulations, my king."
Rafe smirked, staring at the woman who served him well at night,
" Thanks, Angelina. We have bigger goals ahead."
The king had a mysterious tone behind his outspoken words. Angelina eventually furrowed, wondering what happened in the war that he was beaming with happiness. After his mate's death, he happened to forget how to become happy again. Deep sorrows and loneliness always surrounded him.
Angelina pulled her eyes back on Seraya who stood several steps away in chains. Her curiosity was nerve-wracking but she still waited for Rafe's words to save her life. Rafe didn't like disobedience and Angelica was the best example of obedience. That's why, she was his favorite mistress.
Rafe took over his throne, his eyes wandering around with a cold gleam. He could detect the curious atmosphere between his pack members. Without beating around the bush anymore, he announced raising his voice,
" It's a pleasure to let you all know that the moon-eyed pack has submitted themselves to us."
This time, the pack members cheered, knowing that it was allowed to show their happiness in front of Rafe now. One of the oldest members greeted him, giving a big smile,
" Congratulations, my king. Finally, our Luna Queen's death is avenged. We trust you and know that you will be winning."
Rafe raised his hand in the air and they all stopped cheering instantly. He continued bringing his eyes back on Seraya who didn't show any sign of respecting his presence,
" However, I gave Alpha Artemis a chance to prove himself innocent. But I have brought a tool in exchange for his words."
All of those members became extremely curious and some of them were caught staring at Seraya, questioning. Seraya pressed her lips harder to keep her rage in control. As an Alpha, it was intolerable for her to endure their accusing eyes on her. In the past, whenever she went around, everyone greeted her with respect and submission.
Rafe's lips curved upwards, letting his eyes crawl over to Seraya with disgust. His voice was laced with hatred deeply,
" Meet my new slave, Seraya Quinley, the daughter of Alpha Artemis."
This took everything to break the shell around Seraya's Wolf. She considered it the most disrespectful address from someone. Even though Seraya was wrapped in a chain, her wolf made an animalistic growl, stunning everyone presence around.
Seraya's head was raised high, her chest rising heavily in anger. Her eyes were glowing more, indicating the fact that her wolf was ready to fight back. The most shocking person inside their courtroom was probably Angelina.
No one ever raised their head in front of their king! But this princess was challenging their king. She found it disgusting and disrespectful. Besides, all the pack members were present at this time.
Angelina made a request, snapping her eyes back on Rafe,
" My king, Can I beat her?"
Rafe was already tearing Seraya's flesh apart mentally. His dark eyes were swallowing her whole as she tried to impose threatening action even in her captive state. He responded with an arrogant scoff,
" Of course, Angelina. She is my slave, my property. You have rights to her."
The other members bent their heads lowly as Angelina raised her head high and marched over to Seraya hastily. Seraya gave her a glance like nothing. Her unaffected stare infuriated Angelina more.
Blowing her cheeks out in anger, Angelina slapped Seraya's cheeks harshly. Seraya's cheeks tingled in pain as her face moved to the other side. Angelina's wolf talked with pride loudly,
" No one disrespects our king. If you don't want any more beatings, bow down to our king."
Seraya clutched her teeth together to bite back her harsh response. No matter how many times, she tried, her wolf didn't agree to bow down in front of this monster king. Hence, she remained silent without bending her head low.
Angelina's lips trembled together speechlessly. She must admit that this princess had a lot of guts. She even dared to disobey King Rafe in front of their entire pack repeatedly.
Angelina blurted, raising her hand in the air,
" You...."
She was going to slap Seraya again when Rafe's raging voice interrupted her action,
" Leave her to me, Angelina. She is stubborn ass. Haven't you heard of it before? Only an Alpha can tame an Alpha."
Angelina swallowed her anger bitterly and glared at Seraya before walking away. Rafe's expression was darkened in anger. Until now, he never encountered a woman who didn't fear him even after receiving his harsh treatment. His ego was hurt and he was determined to change her mind.
Rafe stood up from his throne, yelling at the members who were watching the show silently,
" Get out Everyone. Cohen, give me that iron chain."
The members all took an immediate leave as no one wanted to be the victim of their king's anger. After passing him the chain, Cohen waited at a corner for his order. To Cohen's surprise, Rafe's next command rolled out of his throat,
" LEAVE!!"
Cohen nodded leaving them alone in the courtroom. After all the doors were closed from outside, Rafe walked down to Seraya who stood there like a puppet.
His infuriated voice bounced off against the high walls,
" Whipping doesn't get your thoughts on the right path, isn't it, Seraya Quinley? But no worries! I know how to make you bow to me."
Seraya finally showed a reaction. Her blank eyes stared up at him with hatred as she blurted out involuntarily,
" You aren't my king."
Rafe stepped forward until their faces were just a few inches away from each other. He gritted his words out, growling furiously,
" I am going to make you regret this stubborn mouth of yours, Seraya. You will learn how to obey me. You will learn how to obey your Alpha. Do not expect any sort of sympathy from me because I have gotten rid of love from my heart from the day, your father killed my mate. Now, I am going to humiliate you before whipping you again and again."
Shock flared from seraya's eyes as he heard his next command ironically,
" Get on your four, now."
Her lips trembled together in disgust but Rafe's Next words left her with no choice,
" Do not think that I can't attack your pack, again. You don't want to see your father's blood on my hands, do you?"
Seraya shivered at the thought of her father's death. Even though the truth wasn't clear to her, she couldn't take the risk of her pack's safety. After tripping on her feet a few times, she finally surrendered, getting on her knees to please him.
Rafe's lips formed into a satisfied smirk as he walked behind her slowly. His words echoed inside the
room coldly,
" Show me your ass, Seraya. I want to see how you will bleed after this whipping."
Epilogue The moon shone brightly over the clearing where the annual mating ceremony was held. Laughter, music, and the hum of anticipation filled the air: wolves from nearby territories had gathered, some in human form, others in their magnificent wolf forms, awaiting destiny to tie two souls together again.Seraya stood calmly amidst the crowd, her silver gown glinting beneath the moonlight. Her belly no longer carried life; months had gone by since she gave birth. Now she was the strong Alpha again — calm, graceful, yet holding a quiet storm inside. Under her rule, her pack did flourish, but her heart still carried the ache of what had once been. She hadn’t come here to find love; she had come because her father, Artemis, had insisted. She had promised herself not to expect anything: not a sign, not a spark, not a face she once loved. But fate had other plans. The crowd parted, and Seraya stood stock-still. On the other side of the open ground was Rafe, tall and commanding, his dar
Chapter 102Months had passed since that terrible night when everything went to pieces. Finally, Seraya had taken back control of her pack. The territory that once lay in confusion was strong once more under her rule. She led with quiet determination-her voice steady, her eyes sharp, her presence commanding. The pack respected her more than ever, for she had faced pain and yet chosen responsibility over despair. The air around the Silver Crest lands had changed — calmer, more disciplined. The wolves no longer whispered about Axel or the chaos that once consumed them. They spoke of Seraya, their Luna who refused to break. She spent her days managing the borders, training new warriors, and ensuring peace among the pack houses. Yet even as her body grew heavier with the child she carried, her spirit never faltered.Rafe visited her often, never uninvited, never unannounced. His visits were brief and heavy with silence. He would stand before her, gaze lowered, as if every second around h
Chapter 101He walked closer, his boots ringing off the stone-work floor. His face was chiseled from ice, yet his eyes burned with fury. "You killed him," he breathed in a shaking voice. "You killed Ace… and for that, Seraya, you should lose everything you hold dear."Seraya remained quiet. She only gazed at him, her face flushed, her body trembling—but her silence only provoked Axel's anger more.He raised his hand with effort, and a disturbance of energy coalesced in the air—dark, thick, and crushing. "From this time forward," he declared, his voice booming like thunder, "you will forget Rafe. All of your remembrances of him—every memory, every feeling, every touch of his skin against yours, every word he ever spoke to you—will be stripped from your mind. You don't deserve to recall love after what you have done. You have killed your fated mate for the sake of an unmated person. You deserve to die. You deserve to burn in hell."But she could not finish her sentence before the spell
Chapter 100"Seraya!" Ace's voice thundered, darker and deeper than ever before. "You can't get away from me!"His voice was full of rage as much as desperation, of a man torn between madness and love. Seraya's heart is constricted in pain. She did not want to hurt him — not even after all that he had done. But her own survival instincts were screaming at her that she had to get out, not just for herself but for the fragile life inside of her."Please, Ace," she cried out, spinning around for a moment, her hair streaming behind her. "Don't do this! I don't want to fight you."Ace's eyes flared with fire-red indignation, his veins darkened by the toxin of his curse: the poison of dark magic. "You already did when you attempted to flee me!" he bellowed, his hands writhing with the familiar shadowy cloud of his curse. "If you truly loved me, you'd never have fled!"Seraya took another step back, her trembling legs barely holding her up. "I still love you," she whispered harshly, "but I w
Chapter 99Seraya's voice trembled as she pleaded, her fingers curling over the table's edge for purchase. "Ace, please… don't do this," she begged, the tears streaming down her face now that they were no longer controlled. The iciness in Ace's gaze nearly broke her heart. She had once sought refuge in those same eyes—warm, proud, full of love. Now, they merely showed obsession and anger.Ace loomed over her, unwavering. "You've already made your choice, Seraya," he announced in a deep, even tone that was more threatening than any scream. "You rejected me, and now you want me to release you? No. You're home here—with me."Seraya shook her head, her voice breaking. "I'm not a possession to be owned, Ace. This isn't you… please, stop before it's too late."Ace cocked his head slightly in Axel's direction, who stood at the edge of the room, leaning into the darkness. "Do it," he growled, his jaw set. "Erase her memories. She won't remember rejecting me—or any of this."Axel hesitated f
Chapter 98" Give me the Alpha position," Ace said. His voice was level but one that contained a weight that distorted the air. "We can be like that before."The words fell between them like stones. Seraya's heart climbed into her throat. Beneath her skin, her wolf stirred uneasily—half threat, half distress. No… not like this, the wolf breathed, low and frantic.Seraya held the silence for a moment, her jaw tight. The flickering lamp made his face shift between shadow and light—close, yet distant. "It was never simple, Ace," she whispered. "And it will never be again."His eyes darkened. "After," he repeated, stepping closer. "After you started hiding behind that Alpha mantle. After you used duty as an excuse to push me away."Her hand slapped flat on the desk. "Don't do this again.""I'm not asking," he said. "I'm giving you a way back. Give me the seat, Seraya. Let me lead. Let me keep you safe."Seraya's lips curled. "Keep me safe?" she echoed. "I ruled this pack, Ace. I made the
