Desperate to seek avenge for his mate's death, Rafe captured all the possible killers of his mate. Following as a pawn, Rafe claimed the other Alpha's daughter aka princess Seraya Quinley who lived in the neighborhood kingdom on the deal that she would be sent back to her family if her father proves himself innocent. Young, stubborn and chivalrous, Seraya Quinley had never loathed someone more than Rafe in her life. He turned her his slave, his toy and sole property to rip off her Alpha pride. But what will happen when these two Alphas will begin to have feelings for each other despite their blossoming hatred? Is it possible to love your mate's killer?

His raging voice evaporated against the noises of werewolves, screaming around the valley. Seraya couldn't see anything except smoke around her pack house, the begging of women, and children's cries. Her ignorance towards his command was only pushing his rage to the edge. No one ever dared to humiliate her in that way.
" I said, STRIP!!", the command came with a loud whip on her back, forcing her knees to fall on the ground.
Rafe Sullivan Anderson held the chain high, his eyes gleaming in deep rage and hatred toward the woman on the ground. Seraya coughed lightly at the smoke, flaring her nostrils to travel into her stomach. Her tears blurred in tears, her wolf refusing to submit but she figured out that her disobedience would turn everything worse.
Her beloved ' The Moon Eyed ' pack was under attack by the most ferocious, cruel pack on earth ' The Night Howlers Pack '. Even if she fought with her all night, she wouldn't be able to save anyone. She clutched the hard soil underneath, her nails forced to come out and rip this monstrous Alpha's throat, Rafe Sullivan Anderson.
Rafe clutched the belt tightly, his patience ripping out of his control. His rage took over his sanity and a series of whips fell on Seraya's back, one after another relentlessly. Rafe's Beta, Cohen sent his Alpha a pleading look, expecting him to stop this baseless torture. Ever since Rafe's mate died, he behaved like a maniac, always getting hyped over small matters. Although the girl down there was their sworn enemy, Cohen felt sympathy for her for being stubborn.
Despite those painful remarks on her back, Seraya's lips were tightly shut, refusing to let out a single word.
She couldn't bow down to an Alpha! She was the Alpha of herself!
Rafe's anger was triggered more as he threw the belt to one side, bending down to grab her from behind. He forced her to stand up, turning her back to meet those fiery brown eyes. Seraya didn't try to retaliate but the brown gleam like sunrays was enough to define that her wolf was on the surface, struggling to come out.
Seraya Quinley, the Alpha's daughter met those infamous red eyes for the first time. Although she had great admiration towards this Alpha, fate twisted everything. She was his sworn enemy now, his prey to kill.
Rage filled his voice, shouting at her face with hatred,
" Do you think that you can fucking disobey me, Seraya Quinley? Submit to me, Now."
Seraya snorted, letting her ego take control over her sanity,
" I am an Alpha, born to lead. I am not going to bow down to you."
An animalistic growl escaped from Rafe's throat. His wolf didn't like her sharp mouth. It wanted control over her even if he had to use force. Rafe scoffed back, pushing her face closer,
" I am your King, now bow down."
Seraya rebuked sharply, raising her chin high to challenge him back,
" You aren't my king. The moment, you ordered me to attack my pack, you aren't my king anymore. And I am not going to submit ever."
A guttural growl passed through his lips, canines growing larger from his mouth. Rafe couldn't stand the humiliation, fuming to rip off her throat. Then he suddenly changed his mind, his pale lips curling up to think about something. His voice came out hoarse,
" You will learn how to obey me!"
" Cohen, burn the rest over areas!", Rafe ordered his beta who was wrecking his head hard to control the situation. Seraya's eyes widened in fear when she remembered that their pack children were hiding in one of those secured places.
She let out a cry, attempting to stop Cohen,
" Noo... Please...No..."
Rafe's grip tightened around her wrist painfully. The amount of pressure that he used could have broken a human bone but fortunately, she was the Alpha dominant. Seraya's attempts were all futile.
" Seraya!!!"
A familiar voice traveled from behind, attaining their attention to pull back on the way. Alpha Artemis staggered on his step, visibly weak after fighting inside the fire for an hour. Relief crossed over Seraya's expression after she noticed her father was safe and sound. But his face had several marks of scratches but it was good that he didn't face any major injury.
" Dada!", Seraya's voice broke emotionally, wanting to break free from Rafe's cage but the Alpha was hard as a rock, refusing to let her go.
Alpha Artemis sent her daughter a pleading look. It was all his fault to fall on Rafe's bad side. If he wasn't brainwashed by the neighborhood pack, nothing would have happened to his family now.
Rafe's voice echoed out sarcastically, watching the proud Alpha with hatred,
" Tsk..look who is here? The proud, old Alpha Artemis. Look at your pack now! Look at what I have done to them."
Alpha Artemis didn't dare to look around. He had already known that his pack members were barely able to fight back now. If this continued, no one would be able to stay alive in his pack.
Without a single word, Alpha Artemis fell on his knees, offering submission and surrendering to the strongest Alpha of the century. Seraya gasped out loud in shock. She always believed that her father was the most respected Alpha of this decade. It hurt her deeply to think that he had to go on his knees for the sake of their pack.
Alpha Artemis mumbled his words out, bleeding,
" Spare.. our..lives...King...We..we can negotiate.."
Tears spew from her eyes, heartbreaking. His father's helpless silhouette deeply cut her heart but they all were helpless. Her wolf was fighting to come out but Seraya had long known that it wasn't a wise choice to provoke the king's anger.
Rafe's hated voice bounced off against the noises of trees burning nearby,
" Do you think that your apology can bring my mate back to life, Alpha Artemis?"
His accusation stunned Seraya who was under his cage, yearning to go over to her father. Seraya's blank eyes pulled over to watch Alpha Artemis, taking close attention to his features. His expression turned guilty.
Rafe continued, throwing Seraya at Cohen who immediately held her tightly,
" You...Your pack has killed my mate. How did you even imagine that I wouldn't ever find it out? Because of your action, your entire pack will suffer.. including..."
He paused his words and whipped his head back to glare at Seraya whose gaze was full of confusion. She never heard anything about his father killing a single soul.
What on earth was happening here?
" Your daughter with her sharp mouth! Her punishment will be doubled for disrespecting me.", Rafe ended his words, his eyes piercing Seraya in hatred. Before Seraya had the urge to retort, her father's voice came out pleadingly,
" I..it was a mistake, King...My pack isn't included...Give us a chance to repent. I...I didn't attempt to do it on my own."
Her father's words put her in a daze. It was beyond forgivable to kill an Alpha's Mate let alone an Alpha King's Mate. They would undoubtedly be doomed. Seraya could imagine the terrifying future. She could barely keep up with her thoughts after this revelation.
Rafe let out a laugh throatily, his eyes burning in rage. He hardly controlled himself from taking Alpha Artemis's life because he wanted to kill him slowly to make him regret his actions. Rafe's voice sounded amusing as he asked raising his brows together,
" Repent? How would you like to repent Alpha Artemis? By taking your own life?"
Alpha Artemis looked down at the ground, his expression seemed lost. He uttered those words out of haste. Spending a few moments in a daze, he was sutured looking up at Rafe,
" I... Give me two months to prove myself innocent, King. After that, you can do whatever you want."
Surprisingly, Rafe smirked at his words mysteriously. His smiling face only scared the hell out of Alpha Artemis because he was supposed to be angry. Rafe's response not only shocked Artemis but his beta too who smelled something fishy behind his words,
" Why should I believe you? What security can you give me, Alpha Artemis? You can run away like a coward. I want something useful to use you anytime."
Alpha Artemis appeared tense and looked behind his daughter in captivity. He could do anything to divert the king's attention from his daughter. Artemis swallowed uneasily, bringing his words out stammering,
" What... What do you want..king?"
Rafe's lips stretched into a wicked smile. His canines shone brightly under the rays of sunlight. Beta Cohen could tell that his Alpha had something vicious in his sleeves. Rafe's voice came out demanding when he expressed his wish,
" I want your daughter, Seraya Quinley as my slave for these two months. If you can't prove yourself innocent, I will kill her straight."
Epilogue The moon shone brightly over the clearing where the annual mating ceremony was held. Laughter, music, and the hum of anticipation filled the air: wolves from nearby territories had gathered, some in human form, others in their magnificent wolf forms, awaiting destiny to tie two souls together again.Seraya stood calmly amidst the crowd, her silver gown glinting beneath the moonlight. Her belly no longer carried life; months had gone by since she gave birth. Now she was the strong Alpha again — calm, graceful, yet holding a quiet storm inside. Under her rule, her pack did flourish, but her heart still carried the ache of what had once been. She hadn’t come here to find love; she had come because her father, Artemis, had insisted. She had promised herself not to expect anything: not a sign, not a spark, not a face she once loved. But fate had other plans. The crowd parted, and Seraya stood stock-still. On the other side of the open ground was Rafe, tall and commanding, his dar
Chapter 102Months had passed since that terrible night when everything went to pieces. Finally, Seraya had taken back control of her pack. The territory that once lay in confusion was strong once more under her rule. She led with quiet determination-her voice steady, her eyes sharp, her presence commanding. The pack respected her more than ever, for she had faced pain and yet chosen responsibility over despair. The air around the Silver Crest lands had changed — calmer, more disciplined. The wolves no longer whispered about Axel or the chaos that once consumed them. They spoke of Seraya, their Luna who refused to break. She spent her days managing the borders, training new warriors, and ensuring peace among the pack houses. Yet even as her body grew heavier with the child she carried, her spirit never faltered.Rafe visited her often, never uninvited, never unannounced. His visits were brief and heavy with silence. He would stand before her, gaze lowered, as if every second around h
Chapter 101He walked closer, his boots ringing off the stone-work floor. His face was chiseled from ice, yet his eyes burned with fury. "You killed him," he breathed in a shaking voice. "You killed Ace… and for that, Seraya, you should lose everything you hold dear."Seraya remained quiet. She only gazed at him, her face flushed, her body trembling—but her silence only provoked Axel's anger more.He raised his hand with effort, and a disturbance of energy coalesced in the air—dark, thick, and crushing. "From this time forward," he declared, his voice booming like thunder, "you will forget Rafe. All of your remembrances of him—every memory, every feeling, every touch of his skin against yours, every word he ever spoke to you—will be stripped from your mind. You don't deserve to recall love after what you have done. You have killed your fated mate for the sake of an unmated person. You deserve to die. You deserve to burn in hell."But she could not finish her sentence before the spell
Chapter 100"Seraya!" Ace's voice thundered, darker and deeper than ever before. "You can't get away from me!"His voice was full of rage as much as desperation, of a man torn between madness and love. Seraya's heart is constricted in pain. She did not want to hurt him — not even after all that he had done. But her own survival instincts were screaming at her that she had to get out, not just for herself but for the fragile life inside of her."Please, Ace," she cried out, spinning around for a moment, her hair streaming behind her. "Don't do this! I don't want to fight you."Ace's eyes flared with fire-red indignation, his veins darkened by the toxin of his curse: the poison of dark magic. "You already did when you attempted to flee me!" he bellowed, his hands writhing with the familiar shadowy cloud of his curse. "If you truly loved me, you'd never have fled!"Seraya took another step back, her trembling legs barely holding her up. "I still love you," she whispered harshly, "but I w
Chapter 99Seraya's voice trembled as she pleaded, her fingers curling over the table's edge for purchase. "Ace, please… don't do this," she begged, the tears streaming down her face now that they were no longer controlled. The iciness in Ace's gaze nearly broke her heart. She had once sought refuge in those same eyes—warm, proud, full of love. Now, they merely showed obsession and anger.Ace loomed over her, unwavering. "You've already made your choice, Seraya," he announced in a deep, even tone that was more threatening than any scream. "You rejected me, and now you want me to release you? No. You're home here—with me."Seraya shook her head, her voice breaking. "I'm not a possession to be owned, Ace. This isn't you… please, stop before it's too late."Ace cocked his head slightly in Axel's direction, who stood at the edge of the room, leaning into the darkness. "Do it," he growled, his jaw set. "Erase her memories. She won't remember rejecting me—or any of this."Axel hesitated f
Chapter 98" Give me the Alpha position," Ace said. His voice was level but one that contained a weight that distorted the air. "We can be like that before."The words fell between them like stones. Seraya's heart climbed into her throat. Beneath her skin, her wolf stirred uneasily—half threat, half distress. No… not like this, the wolf breathed, low and frantic.Seraya held the silence for a moment, her jaw tight. The flickering lamp made his face shift between shadow and light—close, yet distant. "It was never simple, Ace," she whispered. "And it will never be again."His eyes darkened. "After," he repeated, stepping closer. "After you started hiding behind that Alpha mantle. After you used duty as an excuse to push me away."Her hand slapped flat on the desk. "Don't do this again.""I'm not asking," he said. "I'm giving you a way back. Give me the seat, Seraya. Let me lead. Let me keep you safe."Seraya's lips curled. "Keep me safe?" she echoed. "I ruled this pack, Ace. I made the
