“Why did you call me here so urgently? I was so scared.” Elaine complained as she stepped down from the car that was sent to pick her up from Zade's. Elijah and Killian flanked her at both sides while Jared walked behind her.

“Well, we found something that we thought you might want to see. It actually concerns Zade and what happened to him a few years ago. As for Emily, her own news is going to shock the hell out of you.” Jared said excitedly.

“Zade? What does Zade have to do with Caleb?” Elaine questioned, confused. Jared's eyes glinted with mischief as he led her toward a small, dimly lit office in the back of a building at the back of the mansion. The smell of dust and old papers filled the air, it actually looked like the office of those investigators in the movies. Elaine glanced at Jared, she had forgotten that he was a certified lawyer, one who had helped many innocent people and that was why he was very popular.
