Violet

I took my time getting ready, slipping into a pair of tailored blue boyfriend jeans that hugged me just right and a sleeveless white silk top that whispered luxury. My White Chanel heels clicked against the marble floor as I picked up my brown Prada bag. My perfume clung to me like confidence, expensive, and unforgettable. I made a vow to enjoy every luxury this marriage afforded me. Why not smell like generational wealth while I was at it?

When I stepped downstairs, Oliver was already waiting, he opened the door to a gleaming Aston Martin, its black paint glistening under the afternoon sun. The scent of rich leather filled the cabin, smooth and decadent. I slid in, crossing my legs as the estate gates slowly disappeared behind us.

From the rearview mirror, I caught Oliver’s eyes lingering.

“If you’ve got something to say, out with it, Or is there a tracker in the car that will snitch to your boss if you talk to me?” I asked, sharp and cold, not in the mood for games.

STEFAN I sat deep in the leather armchair of my penthouse suite, scotch in hand, shirt half unbuttoned, the city lights bleeding into the room. The air smelled of wealth, lust, and bad decisions. Then the door open and Vicky strolled in Wearing lingerie that barely qualified as clothing. Black lace hugged her curves like sin itself, her heels clicked on the marble floor. “Your penthouse now, huh?” she said, tossing her purse on the bed with a smirk. “Guess I’ve been demoted, no more mansion sex for the side chick. Perks of dating a married man.” I didn’t move, just watched her crouch in front of me, between my spread legs. Like a ritual. “Perks of fucking a married man,” I corrected, my voice low, sharp. “Let’s not romanticize it, I call, you come, If you don’t like it, don’t show.” Her eyes narrowed, but the smirk stayed, she clearly love this game. “You already look like you're drowning in that disaster of a marriage. Should’ve thought twice before marrying a broke, wide eye

Stefan “Well, well, Stefan Rossi in my restaurant. Today must be my lucky day,” Kingston, the owner of the five star rooftop restaurant, beamed as he approached our table. I barely looked up as I took the menu from his hand. “Kingston, good to see you,” I said coolly, scanning the selections while Oliver beside me ordered without hesitation. “It’s an honour, boss,” Kingston grinned, bowing slightly before turning away. “Clear this floor,” I called out as he walked off. “I don’t want a single soul here but us.” He nodded, his expression shifting to one of urgency as he rushed to carry out the order. Oliver chuckled as he leaned back in his chair, sipping his wine, “You have gotten grumpier since you got married, were fools to think marriage would soften the infamous Rossi.” I shot him a glance, “Grumpy, this is me, If any of you thought marriage would change that, you’re dumber than you look.” He raised a brow, “Well, marrying a woman like your wife… can make a man change his w

VioletSince Eliot’s party, Stefan and I have been nothing but ghosts to each other, silent, drifting, pretending the other doesn’t exist. That’s our specialty in this marriage, Silence and detachment. It doesn’t even sting anymore, it has become a routine.I lounged on the sun drenched terrace, a soft breeze teasing the hem of my silk robe as I laughed into the phone, sipping from a glass of chilled wine. My mom and Layla were on the call, and for once, I felt light.“I live for the way you walked out on them like a goddamn queen,” Layla was saying, “Did you see the look on her face, she must have been shocked “I smirked, “I didn’t stick around to watch the aftermath, I said what needed to be said and left. Let them choke on it.”“My firecracker,” she purred with pride. “You put those bougie witches in their place at the party, I bet they’ll think twice before crossing you again.”My mother’s softer voice interjected, as always the peacemaker. “Sweetheart, I understand your pain,

Violet The drive home was suffocatingly silent. I sat frozen, eyes fixed on the dark blur outside the window, but my thoughts were back at that party on Gianna. There was something hauntingly familiar about her, the tilt of her smile, the way her eyes held warmth. She looked like Stefan, undeniably, beauty clearly ran in their bloodline, but Gianna she was different. Gentle and human, It makes me wonder if she had been raised in another world entirely. One untouched by venom and pride the Rossis seem to breathe, I liked her, more than I should and strangely, I was already looking forward to seeing her again. The car hadn't even come to a full stop in the driveway before I flung the door open and stormed into the house. The moment I entered the living room, the temperature dropped. There she was Nonna, Sitting on the velvet settee like a queen on her throne. Her eyes landed on me and turned cold with contempt, her mouth curling into a familiar sneer. “Oh, welcome,” she spat, risi

VIOLET I refused to cause a scene tonight, not for them and especially not here. I wasn’t about to give them the satisfaction of seeing me unravel. So instead, I swallowed my pride along with the entire glass of champagne I grabbed off a passing waiter’s tray, letting the burn numb the fire rising in my chest. “A dream come true” another chime in. “If I were a street rat and got a shot at the richest man alive, I’d cling to him too.” I felt the heat rise in my chest , the smirks and fake elegance, this is why I hate events with him. Their laughter sliced through the air like glass, cold and Sharp. “She’s still a gutter rat,” another hissed. “Only now she’s dressed in designer. Can’t believe Stefan let himself get shackled to a leech with no class.” Enough, They spoke like I wasn’t even there, like I was some pet project Stefan picked off the sidewalk and polished up for show. But I wasn’t made to shrink. I straightened, slowly, my voice cutting clean through their stupid la
