It was nearing Christmas, and Cathy had been busy with the programme that she had prepared for the pre school where she had been doing part time work. Jon never wanted her to work while waiting for the following school year, but she insisted. "I want to be able to save. I cannot live a life like this and ask you for everything that I need," she remembered herself telling him that she wants to work for a few months, before finally getting into UCLA.
