-MILA-

The trees blurred as we drove past. Betty and Elena were talking up a storm in the front while I sulked in the back seat. Although it was by my own doing, I still couldn't get over the pain I was feeling over my choice.

"Mila?" Betty glanced into the rearview mirror before turning her attention back to the road.

"Yeah?" I asked, the single word seemed to take more effort than usual, feeling as if it sucked a boat load of energy from me.
