CHAPTER 8 – A Prelude to the Wedding

On the night prior to the wedding, Dareon flew to Dragon Land and sought the approval and blessing of the Dragon Lord to his upcoming marriage.
The Dragon Lord was ecstatic when he heard Dareon’s news. “Dareon, finding your right woman is the happiest thing that you are going to do in your dragon life and I want to be a witness to that. Let me bless you and your bride tomorrow. I will come to grace the occasion and wed you.”

I Under the not-so-bright rays of the sun, a mighty reddish Dragon, carrying on his back a blushing bride in her wedding gown, slowly glides into the sky savoring the moment of their oneness. The reddish Dragon continued the gentle gliding of its wings until it slowly soared down in a tiny island where a small castle stood up. No other structure could be seen standing in the said tiny island of white sands surrounding it. The Master Dragon landed down on the island just beside the tiny castle. Dareon answered while waiving back his hand to the two old folks. “Master, we are glad that you were able to visit here again.” The old woman bowed her head as he greeted Dareon and then she looked at Shelyca with a mix of admiration and curiosity in her eyes. “Shundiya and Ranulo, this is Princess Shelyca, my wife.”
