CHAPTER 60 - Mate, Fate

When night falls, the Duke in his wolf form ran down the mountain and went near a hidden part of the seashore, looking for a boat or anything that could help him traverse the sea, going to the next island or country.

All he could see however was a small boat docked carelessly in between two big rocks. He shifted into his human form and checked the boat. He only needs to fix the boat’s outrigger or support, which has been broken, its paddle was still inside it. Knowing that the sea was calm and safe, the Duke sailed away using the small boat, after fixing its outrigger.

He kept on paddling until he reached almost the middle of the ocean. He has been on the sea for one and a half hours already and no big boats or ships were traversing along his way. Trying to keep calm and strong, he continued.
