Five Years Later…

“Seriously, Anna Belle? You still have not moved on to that Marine guy?” I glared at Kylie because she was talking nonsense again. 

“Said someone who can’t even move on from his ex for four years,” I rebutted. 

“Oh come on! At least we are back together? Right, Hon?” I rolled my eyes at them. 

“Right,” Josh answered back and then kissed Kylie in front of me. I really wanted to throw the slipper that I was wearing to them. They always made me jealous.

Not jealous because she ended up with Josh. I was beyond happy that they ended up with each other. I was jealous of how sweet they were to each other. I was jealous because I did not have someone by my side. While both of them got each other.  While me? I was still alone.
