Chapter Twenty Nine

Since I got the television set, I would try to keep its use to a minimum, mainly keeping the news or the weather on. The only other real prominent personal items were the pictures on my desk in the corner of Callum. My eyes fell to one of the pictures, looking at Callum’s smiling face, as if he was looking at me, giving me strength after a long and busy week. It was a picture I stole off of Colette’s Instagram.

I rubbed my eyes and glanced at the clock. I really needed to start working on my presentation to swoon Callum, I spent so much time preparing to have him over and plotting what I would do once he gets here, I have not had much time to rest. I was exhausted. I had done a lot of traveling to acquire the drugs and well, the money to afford the drugs, I was worn out.
