Janine shut her eyes in frustration as Porter Kim continued to order her around. When will he even understand that she is not his slave or something? Doesn’t he have a secretary for a reason?
She muttered another string of curses under her breath as she stood up from her desk and followed his orders. What can she do? If she didn’t, then, this devil would report her to the disciplinary council and would write another letter of apology again. They had not talked the night before because Janine got home late due to the shortage of cabs last night.Her shopping with Porter ended at 8PM and she waited until 10PM for a cab because, apparently, there were a lot of people waiting for a cab. For a second, she regretted not asking Porter to drive her home. But on second thought, why would she? More time with L would mean more time to get pissed.
