Who Is Getting Married?

Anda walked soundlessly down the hall just as she has been taught. A lady never makes sound with her feet. Ignoring the servants staring at her. Some new faces while some were the old judgy ones who thought she didn't deserve to be born a Costa, Well... She didn't want to be born one.

One... Two.. three.. she breathed in as she walked into the office. Her father was sitting with his back to her.

It was the same. Nothing had changed in here. The same frame of her mother was hanging perfectly in its place at the wall.

His father's prize. 

He boasted of his wife so much that Everyone in Dullard knew just how much Samuel De Costa loved his wife. 

"Goodevening Pops" Anda greeted. Her voice breathless. She was the only one who didn't address her parents Formally.

"Miranda, I knew Judith wouldn't fail to bring you home" He smiled standing up. He was a tall huge man who looked like a giant standing before petite Anda.

"Did you have to to drag me back here? You promised to leave me alone if I got a buisness degree" Anda pulled off the annoying wig sitting down on one the couch glaring at her father.

"I've let you have your freedom for six years and that's enough.. we needed you home"Samuel replied.

"Why would you need me?" Anda asked pulling off her shoes.

"Miranda" The door opened and her mother walked in.

The rich red hair flowing down her waist and her arms opened. Anda hugged her briefly before sitting down.

"What have you done to your hair? It doesn't matter.. it just need to grow back before the wedding"April De Costa said sitting down beside her husband.

" who's getting married? Tatiana? I thought James got married six months ago to Sharon" Anda looked at them curiously.

"You didn't tell her?" April stared at her husband.

"I haven't gotten a chance to tell her yet, she is pissed that we dragged her home, it's a good thing we can tell her now" Samuel smiled taking Anda's hands into his own.

" Well? "April looked at her husband.

" Tell her"Samuel urged his wife.

"Can you talk to me? Are you getting a second wife?" Anda demanded impatiently.

" You are getting married"Samuel smiled.

" Wow..I'm not dating Adam or anyone at the moment..I'm sorry if you're mistaken"Anda laughed.

" Oh..not to him,To Crown Prince Henry Don Fisco"April said and walked to the window.

Anda let it sink in before exploding.

"What do you mean by I'm getting married? I'm only twenty-seven,I haven't even enjoyed my youth.I thought Tatiana was engaged to him so why am I getting married to my sister's betrothed?" Anda Demanded.

"Tatiana is pregnant and she got wedded privately last month,We have been looking for you since then to inform you" April explained.

"Who Is stupid enough to marry off a De Costa without your approval unless you knew all along" Anda glared at her father.

"The priest..you know he's the only one who hates me enough to wed my daughter without asking for my consent"He answered.

The Priest and Father was known to be enemies who was always at each other's neck but no one really knew why.

"He did it to spite your father and now the king wants to wed his son to his betrothed" April said.

"You can go to him and explain everything to him" Anda smiled.

"We can't..He gave your father the land he built his first automobile company on and he's ready to give us the Landon land to build the next one...If he finds out his son's betrothed have been married off..imagine the fury that will follow...not only on us but also on your sister and her husband"April Explained.

" I don't care..I'm getting on the first flight and I'm leaving Dullard first thing in the morning"Anda smiled.

" Fine,You can leave but it's a good thing we have another daughter"Samuel replied.

Anda froze on her steps.

" Arianna is only Nineteen,you're not going to marry her off"Anda looked at her parents.

" Eighteen  is the legal age to get married in Dullard so No one will say anything..All we have to do is withdraw her from college.. she started two weeks ago so it's not too late to withdraw her" Samuel smiled sitting down.

"You're threatening me" Anda whispered.

"Anda,Imagine the Queen of Dullard..Having every thing at your disposal, Giving birth to the future king of Dullard..the Respect,The love and Envy..imagine the power in your hands" April held her daughter's shoulder.

"That also means I'll be stuck here forever,never getting on the tracks again ..no..no..do whatever you want with Anna,She's more suitable to be queen anyway .you said it..she's Nineteen and can legally get married" Anda smiled walking out of the office.

She'd known her parents had some motive to bring her back but she never imagined it was to get married in place of her selfish sister.

She will never give up her freedom to live stuck in a castle breeding children that looked like freckled faced Nelson who she was taller than when they were kids.she wouldn't marry the boy who she bullied so much for his skinny and small body.
