Lucy stood before the king's chamber with mixed emotions, she sighed. Yesterday's conversation was still fresh in her mind, she couldn't shake off the look on his face when he said he didn't regret it. She suddenly wanted to know more but then it meant exposing herself shutting her eyes she decided to take things slowly. Knocking on the door she heard a soft ‘come in’, walking she looked around the vast room only to see the king sitting on his couch. He wore a black robe which showed off his chest a bit, his hair disheveled. “Greetings to you, your Majesty,” she said with a bow. Kael looked up his golden eyes on her and raised a brow, ‘was she back to the formality’ he thought. “Kael” he stated making Lucy furrow her brows. “We are alone so it is Kael for you I thought we agreed on that” he asked a bit hurt. “I'm sorry”

She inhaled it and nodded in satisfaction with her eyes closed. She closed the teacup and lifted the tray heading out of the kitchen. Lucy walked into the hallway and saw Catherine who was speaking with the other maids. Catherine turned and smiled as her blue eyes caught Lucy's figure. “Lily!, I was looking for you” she said as she called out, She walked towards Lucy. “Aren't these heavy for you” she asked and Lucy lifted a brow before laughing. “I'm almost healed and besides this just a cup of tea” Lucy replied and Catherine grinned. “It's good to know that, you have to go now before the tea gets cold” she said pointing at the tea and Lucy nodded. Lucy rolled her eyes when she remembered what Kael had said. On reaching the study room, she knocked slightly and heard a soft ‘come in’.
