Reina is currently staying with my parents. I had to haul her ass over there and she went screaming and shouting about wanting to stay with Aria but I wasn’t having it. I wanted my girl to myself. If Reina is home, her attention would be divided with Reina taking most of it. Yes, I’m jealous of my daughter. Very jealous. Much like Aria’s brother, Adrian, Aurora has been nowhere to be found for a while now. Since her plan went to shit, since I confronted her after she sent that letter to our resort, I made it clear to her that we were over, and she can get whatever fantasy she has out of her goddamn mind because it was not going to happen. We haven’t heard from her since then. Reina has been asking questions and I have been repeating the same goddamn answers to her every single time. “Mummy has work.” “Mummy is on an internati
Aria’s POV I’m nervous. Sweaty palms, accelerated heartbeat kind of nervous. I turn to face Mia. “I don’t think I can do this,” I announce. She laughs. “I’m glad you find this funny.” Because I don’t. “No, this is hilarious.” She says with a laugh. “Why are you so nervous? What is there to be nervous about?” She asks. Everything. What if he doesn’t show up? What if he does show up and is uninterested? What if I’m too late? What if he doesn’t love me anymore? What if he doesn’t want me anymore? Maybe he hates me already. Or…maybe he found someone else. “I can hear you thinking about complete nonsense all the way from here, Aria and I need you to snap out of it. You are being ridiculous.” Mia says. If you haven’t figured out what’s going on yet, I will spell it out to you. I’m here, standing in front of Club Luna, where it all started, where it all began, where my life took a turn for the better. Literally where my life changed forever. I’m standing here again, trying t
Aria’s POV “THE DISOWNED TRAFFORD PRINCE: DAMIEN TRAFFORD HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM ALL POSITIONS WITHIN AND OUTSIDE THE TRAFFORD COMPANIES.”The news headlines have been like this for the past three days. Everyone has been talking about why Damien was disowned. Thankfully, they never released the real reason behind the whole thing. Just something about serious ethical misconduct and his concealment of criminal actions. I don’t know what I would have done if the real reasons for his disowning were broadcast for the whole world to see. I won’t be able to handle the attention and I honestly don’t want it. Damien’s reputation has been ruined beyond repair, every rumor, every allegation, and accusation that the media has been circulating gets worse by the day and I have sat down here in this room watching every brand he worked with release public statements, renouncing him as their brand ambassador or face of the brand. Maybe it’s not the way I wished justice was served but I’m glad he is
Ronan’s POV Everyone is here. Everyone that matters is here. Every major board member, my mum, grandma, my dad, and the lawyers. We have been waiting for Damien to show up but as usual, he’s late. He doesn’t know what he will be walking into today. He doesn’t have any idea what the agenda of today’s meeting is but he did receive the text to show up to the board meeting since he is one of the major shareholders of the company. After waiting for about twenty minutes, Damien walks in, looking put together in his black tailored tuxedo. He cleans up nicely, enough that you can’t tell that he is responsible for the death of two people. “Sorry, I’m a little late.” He announces with a charming smile that previously, would have had the board eating right out of his hands. “I got stuck in traffic.”“Take your seat, Damien.” My father’s gruff voice fills the boardroom. Damien nods and silently takes his seat. I don’t miss the disappointed look my grandma sends his way. “Now that Damien is
Ronan’s POV “Daddyyyy!! You are not listening.” Reina literally screams down my ears. Truly, I wasn’t listening. The last thing I remember hearing was something about some watercolors. I’m at my parents’ house. I have been here for some days now. I couldn’t go back home after everything went to shit with Aria. So I went to a hotel but it was hell. It was silent. Too silent. It wasn’t filled with Aria. I didn’t realize how much she fills my world with colors till she wasn’t in my world anymore. Her little sighs of happiness when she sees something pleasing on her phone. Her little giggles and laughs when she watches something funny on TikTok. The random kisses. The random demand for coffee or hot chocolate. The soft hum that escapes her lips every time she does her skincare routine. The cheesy selfies follow a satisfying routine. And the way she chatters on and on about things I can’t make sense of but I would rather cut off my right arm than not listen to her. I miss her.
Aria’s POV I don’t know how long I have been standing by this window just staring into nothing. I haven’t stepped out of this room since Ronan broke the news to me. I haven’t done much since I broke the news. All I do is stare into space and just allow myself to wallow in my sadness. I have been throwing a pity party. Every single day. You want to know what’s even crazier? I don’t think the truth mattered much to me. I used to think something dramatic would happen when I finally found out the truth about my parents’ accident, like the sky would turn pink or the earth would stop spinning in circles. I don’t know, just something very drastic. But nothing changed. Nothing happened. I don’t even feel anything. Maybe because I never really knew those people and one of the reasons why I wanted to find out the truth was to show Adrian that I didn’t kill them. Even though his claims were obviously atrocious. I miss Ronan.I miss him so much. I literally see him everywhere. Every time
Aria’s POV I turn in bed and try to snuggle into Ronan but…he isn’t there. And I realize he hasn’t been there for a while because his spot is no longer warm. I reluctantly get out of bed and quickly head to the bathroom to freshen up. My conversation with Ronan last night keeps replaying in my h
Ronan’s POV He has her eyes. And her smile. The moment I set my eyes on him I knew immediately that he was her brother. It’s those eyes, those eyes that I see every day and absolutely adore. They look alike but they couldn’t be more different at the same time. He is jittery, nervous, and edgy.
Aria’s POV It was already late in the afternoon by the time I was done with my photoshoot and every other ad shoot I had to do for the day. I texted Mia as soon as I was done, and we agreed to meet at our favorite restaurant to have lunch and catch up. I got here first so I chose a table by the c
Aria’s POV “Oh, bodyguards. Fancy.” Layla says with an amused smile when she sees the two big ass men following me around like lost puppies. I groan. “Please don’t remind me.” She chuckles as she takes a look at the men again. “I don’t think I would have to remind you. Have you seen these men? T
