Max's POVI did not expect that Mother would be nearby. This should be easy though, she usually didn't ask too many questions. Sammie's POVI stared at Max's shirt after I was done bathing for minutes wondering if I was going to put it on or not. It was weird to wear his clothes but I knew that refusing to wear them presently wasn't an option.The last thing I wanted right now was for him to hit me. Sammie's POVAfter all the drama that happened in the morning, anyone would think I would have been grateful to have the rest of the day to myself but no, I was bored!I liked that I didn't have to deal with Max but having nothing to do almost drove me crazy. I ended up arranging his room a little bit which went against what my wolf and my own mind advised but I had to do something, anything.I even found a needle and sewed my tent dress which was a very difficult task due to the brashness with which Max had torn the dress.That just brought me back to the thought I had been trying to escape all day: Max. What did he want with me exactly? He had said he was going to make me his mistress but I still didn't believe that he could do that with even the slightest bit of my mind.I was scared of what would happen if people found out if I was here. Shayna would certainly kill me this time if she found out I was here with Max but I was even more scared of what would happen while I was here. W
