Amelie POV

My heart sank. “That is not possible. You are dead,” I said as I stood there not following him. He paused and turned back to face me. “I assure you I am quite alive,” he said with a smile before turning away from me and continuing on his way. “How? Your mate said you were dead,” I shared, as I did not move to follow him.

“Amelie, your mother was a confused woman. She thought she was in charge of everything. She was not. Now come along. I do not have all day to play this game with you,” he said, sounding bored. I took a step to follow him when one of his guards took hold of my arm.

The guard held on tightly, as he moved me forward to follow the man claiming to be my father. I tried to tug my arm from him, when he simply tightened his grip forcing me forwards. I tried to reach out to Matt but felt something blocking my barrier. “Oh yes, I forgot to tell you. I have barriers in place so you cannot communicate with the outside

Amelie POV Sister. He was teasing me with a sister. “Don’t you mean my twin?” I asked. He smiled at me, “I see you have been doing some research,” he replied as he stepped through the door. I followed on his heels. “Where is she?” I demanded, as he continued to walk along, seemingly ignoring my request. We came to an elevator. My heart stuttered. If I were to enter, I would be harder for Matt to locate when he came to rescue me. I did not hesitate for long. Releasing the women was part of the plan and I could not do that from here. I cautiously stepped into the elevator, waiting for him to press a button. I quickly realized there was no button to push, but I immediately felt the elevator start to move. Confusing was that the doors to the front did not open but rather the back did. How the hell would I get the elevator to move when I rescued the women, I contemplated as I took in my surroundings. We had entered a hallway of do

  • Her Ultimate Salvation   Chapter 128 - Going In

Amelie POV We had spent days strategizing on how we were going to try and rescue the women in the compound. It was going to be a tough effort, but we all knew we needed to do it. Now that we knew the women were there and trapped, much like Rosie had been, we had to do something. And the thoughts that I may have a twin were torturing me. Why was she chosen to suffer, while I had the privilege of a good upbringing. I may have had challenges recently but my life with Colby and Kate were second to none. I was treated as if I was their own and I never wanted for anything. Now we were driving as a convoy towards the location of the compound. “Promise me you will be smart, and get out of there, if things go south,” Matt murmured to me as I sat in his lap. “I promise,” I repeated for the hundredth time. “I mean it Amelie. I know how desperately you want to find your sister, but you surviving is critical to me surviving,” he said. “Whate

  • Her Ultimate Salvation   Chapter 127 - Choices

Amelie POV Rosie and I had showered before returning to the conference room. We sat there impatiently waiting for Matt to share with us what they had both figured out. Matt cleared his throat, before starting the conversation. “You were both right,” he shared. I looked at him, confused with what we were right about. “The only way to get into the compound is to have you both turn yourself in,” he expanded. I took a swift breath in. This was it. We were going to be putting ourselves in danger and now that the moment was real, my heart was pounding inside my chest. I looked to Rosie, who seemed to be having a similar response. Matt’s hand reached over to take mine in his grasp. “On one condition,” he continued. “What is that?” I asked, holding my breath. “That you allow us to put tracker chips inside of you,” he shared. I looked at him in surprise. “You want to put a tracker inside of us? Why?!?” I asked, somewhat concerned about that sugg

  • Her Ultimate Salvation   Chapter 126 - Solution

Marly POV We had been working on trying to figure out the best way to try and breach the compound holding the women who were forced into this program. I had also been considering the possibility that Alexa could be my twin. Matt and I had discussed that possibility last night, but it seemed impossible given that Colby would have been aware that my biological parents had two babies. Wouldn’t he? Everyone sighed in frustration. From what we could tell, the compound was well protected. Even as wolves it will be difficult to get in. I sat there thinking for a moment, “What if I turned myself over to them?” I asked. Matt slammed his fist down on the tabletop, “Absolutely not!” he yelled. “Matt, it might be the only way,” I started to comment when Rosie chimed in, “I could go with her. Ensure she has backup,” she stated. “That is a hard no,” Blake responded. Rosie looked at him, “I am stronger now; we are both stronger,” she reminded him. “It is

  • Her Ultimate Salvation   Chapter 125 - Findings

Amelie POV We had been sitting at the conference room table going over everything the team had found so far. We had been at it for the past two hours and I had to admit I was starting to get tired. We never made it to our room, as I was determined to find out everything that the IT folks had learned. “Okay, so we know who we believe is Amelie’s sister, to be named Alexa,” Matt stated. The IT lead nodded his head, “Yes. So far, we have been able to identify her, through DNA matches to Amelie,” he shared. “So that means they share the same parents?” Matt clarified. “Yes, that is correct,” he confirmed. “And she is oddly the same age as you, Amelie. She does not have her wolf yet. Or we do not believe she does,” the IT lead stated. “What does that mean? You do not believe she has her wolf?” I asked. “Well, from preliminary scans there was different types of research happening simultaneously,” he replied. “Meaning?” I questioned.
