Chapter 2

I woke up from my sleep with pespirations all over my face, I had just had the same dream again, Kimora was trying to harm me, her claws were long and she stretched her fingers to my face, she growled as she gradually turned into a wolf, I was so shocked and surprised to see her in that state, her body looked like she was half human and half wolf. What was more surprising was that my husband Andre also appeared in that dream and he was also half human and half wolf. I was so perplexed to witness this.

It dawned on me that there’s more to this than meets the eyes and that could be the reason his family are on his side supporting his every move. The betrayal I felt was more consumed by the revenge that stick in my heart and the fact that I needed to dig out the truth, but how do I do that.

I tried to sleep back because the dream couldn’t allow me get enough sleepas much as I had wanted, and there again came this dream again, but this time something spectacular happened.

A cute guy in his late thirties came close before Kimora could get to me. He held me in his hand and saved me before Kimora could get any closer.

I sprang up from the bed almost immediately, who could this guy be and why is he trying to save me form Kimora and my ex husband but most importantly the question that lingered in my head was how was this guys able to possess so much strength and power.

I was tired, so tired with the way I was sweating profusely and with everything everything that has happened in my dream, I could have just given up on my revenge, I just wanted to live for my kids and be alive to take care of them, but what if Kimora comes after me and my Children?

This only means one thing, that I have to fight, I have to fight for myself and for my kids.

I quickly got up from the bed and went straight into my bathroom to take a bath, it was cold and refreshing. I didn’t want to take much time I had to get to the airport to cathc up with the flight. I needed to go meet Kimora and my ex husband wherever they both are and fight them. I don’t know how I would do this but my mind was made up on it already.

“Hey mum,when will dad come back to us already?” My little child Ami asked.

With the emotion’s that I couldn’t explain, I don’t know when my kids would finally understand that their dad is not coming back to us, he has gone to be in the arms of another woman, and worst this new woman would do anything just to hurt us. Especially my last child, I couldn’t explain it any better to her.

“You see sweetheart, dad just needed to be somewhere okay, you won’t understand it now but when you grown up you will surely understand better,” I managed to say the words to her.

I was trying so hard to clean the tears that were already gathering up in my eyes, I didn’t want my kids to see me breakdown, I didn’t want my emotions to get a better part of me at least not now and definitely not in the presence of my kids.

The emotions were high, from a family that seemed to be so lovely has gradually turned to a shadow of itself and I need to tell different lies to my kids just to cover up and not make my kids ask questions.

I quickly called one of the domestic staff to take the kids out why I prepared for the journey ahead.

I took the necessary things and necessary papaers and headed straight to the airport, the kids would be staying with my mum that way I would be very sure that they are in safe hand and I wouldn’t have to worry about them.

I was seated at the back of the car, deep in thoughts and totally feeling lost, I didn’t know anything to do or even the best way to go about this revenge but all that I wanted and have convinced myself was that I would never let Andre and his mistress get away with what they did to me.

“Hey ma’am, we are already here at the airport,” the voice of my driver brought me back to reality, I have been in deep thoughts that I couldn’t even realize that we have gotten to the airport already.

I alighted from the car and headed straight to get my papers checked.

“Ouch, you be careful woman,” A sweet masculine voiced echoed in my ears as I got his body brushed.

I wasn’t even looking my way and I couldn’t realize that I had stepped on him.

“ I’m so sorry please pardon my manners, “ I apologized immediately turning around to face him and even help him pick the items that fell from his hands.

There was something striking about him, his face looked so familiar even though that I could bet with my life that I have never met him before, but there’s this surge of feeling that makes me think that I have seen him before.

I kept staring at him , I couldn’t take my eyes off his face as I tried to recall if I have seen his before.

“I’m Derrick, I’m a Digital marketer, I’m traveling for a business and you?” He said extending his hand to me.

I was still dazed, I looked at him trying to convince myself that I have seen him somewhere before now.

“I’m Mrs… Miss..” I was confused whether to introduce myself as Miss or Mrs, I had already yanked the ring off my finger.

“I’m Miss Amira, Amira Dela Rosa, I’m a businesswoman.” I causally introduced myself still having my eyes fixed on him.

His hands were so warm and soft, He looked so cute, like of one those guys that I saw in Hollywood movies. He was irerrestibly attractive but common, I can’t be falling for a guy I just met just now and in the most awkward manner at that.

The little time we stood there starting at each other seemed to be the longest of my time that I have been standing up.

His resemblance was striking with someone that I had just met recently, but from where?

Then Iike a sharp flash it struck to my head and eyes, “The guy in my dream” The guy that saved me for Kimora in my dream.

They looked so much alike and the moment this guy smiled at me I was totally convinced that this is the guy in my dream that possessed such strange powers but how come is that even possible.

“The flight 20785 is ready for boarding, please all passengers should onboard right immediately,” I heard the announcement.

“That’s my flight, I have to go now” I said quickly.

“That’s also my flight so let’s go.”Derrick replied.
