The rest of the tour was amazing and she found herself actually enjoying everything up to a point she nearly forgot her embarrassing situation in the office. That day, Ryan showed her, her work cubicle where she would be doing most of the work, and she honestly did not get good stares. She was walking with the boss and given how good-looking he was, and the fact that she was just a new employee raised questions.
She had written several books and she hoped that this place would at least give her the environment she needed to make an earning for herself. The people there did look welcoming, especially one big lady who was actually youthful and knew how to dress her body well. She had talked to her and her innocence together with her bubbly self made her feel great talking to her.
That evening, Ryan drove back with Enoch to go see his parents in Alaska. Alaska had been their perfect home because of the forests occupying that region. Wolfs were creatures of hunting and if they did not hunt, of course, they would feel weird. So, getting home, he was welcomed with a bow from the pack. The servants were busy doing their duties around the place. Their palace was built within that place and stood opulently in the area.
It looked traditional and majestic at the same time. As he walked, Ryan could not help but remember his past love life. Like so many other were wolfs, he had been restless when he had not met someone that made him want to open up and settle with for the rest of his life. This had of course led him to talk to one of the ladies in his pack and that had not ended up well.
He knew that he should not have forced things but he had been able to help himself. It was taking too long. Elizabeth had been one of the prettiest ladies in their pack and surprisingly, she had gone after him, since he had been a prince at the time with vigor. Every moment, she took care to avail herself to him such that the temptation to have her had grown. Not to talk of the very graphic thoughts that had passed through her to him.
His parents, the king, and queen had of course warned him of the folly of such but yes like every other young man, he did not listen. Elizabeth fucked him up. He had of course liked her, their attraction a little subtle, though he had never been able to bring himself to actually mark because once you marked someone, you could only marry and be with that one person.
They had tumbled in the sheets for quite some time, and everyone knew or thought they were a couple. That was until recently when he had come to know that Elizabeth had been bought over by another pack and was actually acting as their spy. Working closely with Ryan of course just made things easier. She was a good dam traitor and it hurt him to not have realized earlier. He should have been able to realize it because he had been the future alpha after his father. He should have more intuitions because one did not just lead the pack haphazardly.
Thankfully they had gotten wind of the fact that she had been a spy from one of their very close rivals, the Victorians, who had been a pain in the neck for quite some time. There had been some speculations in their packs that a savior had been predicted to be born within such a time, and whoever ruled with the help of a savior, would be the greatest pack in the wolf entire kingdom. So of course, the exact date the savior was born was made known to all. This is because the morning star Venus had appeared, existing throughout the day while being surrounded by not only the sun but four more stars.
This had of course been written down in their books from of old. That the savior would be born, and the events that followed were not so simple. This was classified information of course and pretty few people could get their hands on it. Things would happen that had never happened before. This would not just affect the wolfdom, no it would affect the whole world, and the only ones who could see the sign were the wolves, moreover those of the royal blood.
For every successful and peaceful leadership, blood had to be shed. This was because after the war there was peace, and after peace war again. It was a never-ending circle. But the blood bath surrounding this particular savior would be so severe, that it would look like the end. But oh, the peace and prosperity that would ensue, would be for millions of years. Power and magic would blossom once more among the chosen ones. It would be a period of peace.
So of course, the packs had to be cautious of each other, so that none of them took the first step. If the savior was known, then of course they had to have a fair play to choose her. Coming from all those thoughts, one of the servants took him to his parents. You would not believe that they were each a thousand years, having taken quite some time to give birth. In their human form, they looked no older than thirty years.
The queen was of course majestic and beautiful in a regal way. Dressed in dark purple, the finest of it all. Her husband, Thapelo, dressed in a dress coat, embroidered beautifully to stop just above his ankles. Inside had silk pants that were of the finest material. It was like stepping right into a Victorian-era world. “Hey dad, hey mom, how are you people.” Ryan said as he moved to kiss her mother on the face and greet his father. His mother stood from the table holding his ears. “You sure do know how to stay away huh, I always say come home soon and then you say you will and weeks go by like that. Today I am going to beat your ass.” That had of course been the norm between the two. The palace servants were already used to it though of course Ryan always pretended that his ear hurt. “Mom stop, you are embarrassing me I’m already grown up,” Ryan said as he held his mom’s hand... “ouch, you will give scars to this handsome son of yours.” She did leave his ear b

Leila walked home after her first day at work, more confused than clarified. She had become someone’s marked mate in an instant without her voluntary reaction. It was almost as though fate was working behind the scenes to bring her and Ryan together. That was definitely bizarre ad the only thing she could do now was wait until Ryan came back with an explanation for what had happened then.Getting inside her house she sat as she thought about how handsome he had been. When she had changed, she been full of too much excitement, his presence made her feel protected. Like with him around, there was nothing to fear. And then of course she wanted to mate with him, more than she had ever wanted to.She had of course grown among humans, some had of course hit on he but at those times, she had felt disgusted when imagining herself being with them. She had even managed to convince herself that she wasn’t meant to know love. Because it seemed as though the people arou
Talking with his parents has always been calming. It was home. After discussing with them what had happened, they had found themselves going back to talk about the savior. Things had been weird and according to his parents, no one had ever marked their partner in adream. In as much as there was much mystery surrounding this, if they did more research, they could of course find out what had happened. That night, Ryan moved out to meet with his pack members. He had missed the thrill of the hunt, giving out instructions as they went stealthily. Fresh prey always tasted the best. Everyone turned from their base and then moved to the woods. Everyone in position, they moved as Ryan mastered the thoughts of everyone in the group. They had to be focused and of the same mind. That had always been their strength.Giving instructions, Enoch just beside him as the beta, they moved forward stealthily before they broke into a run. He could feel the excitement filling his veins as hi
Closing the door behind her as she got into Ryan’s office, she walked towards him and sat. “I’m sorry, what did my assistant do?” Ryan asked as he fixed his potent stare down at her. Clearing her throat, she opened her mouth to talk and as embarrassing as it was, she had to speak twice to be audible. It was as though her vocal cords were cut or sand had been put on her mouth.Ryan chose that time to stand and sit at the front of his desk just next to her chair. Gripping her chair, he turned it such that they were now facing each in opposite places. Winking, Ryan bend closer to her. “Miss Leila, do you know that you are now my wife.” Ryan said as he faced her. Those words of course had her world start tilting. “Mr. Ryan, you have to stop spouting nonsense. You do know why I am here and it is serious.” Leila said as she struggled to hide the grin that was beginning to form on her lips.“So yes, I did go home, tried lo
“Disaster disasters is about to strike. Be prepared, a blood bath is about to come. The gods have obscured everything but there is just one thing clear. Death is coming.” The seer stood up from his seated position, his eyes turning and becoming normal. Peering into the secrets of the heavens was becoming more and more troublesome. This was especially more ever since the savior was born. The gods did not want to give a clue as to what was to happen. The only way to be safe, was to walk hand in hand with the savior.”Chilemba moved from where he was seated at the voice of the seer. They had lived in the congo basin forest for so long that he did not know otherwise. The forest here was good as a place to not just hide but to live well and survive. The game and everything. They had known that a time would come when the very ground they stood on would shift, but they did not imagine it would be that soon.“Seer, are you saying that the only way we ca
For the past few days, Leila had been having a recurrent nightmare every time she slept. She would see herself closed off in a house, which was covered in something like a net. She sat there in the darkness, while holding her legs in a cramped position. She was crying and when she moved her hand to the ground, she touched something soft and mushy. Something cold, and by coincidence, light happened to shine on her hands. They were full of blood. This was what woke her up sweating. It felt as though the peace she had known had only been but an illusion. Her life was on the brink of a major change. She could feel something ominous brewing within her spirit. Danger, change, it all felt suffocating. This had been exactly even more pronounced since her last date with Ryan.Speaking of Ryan. Damn that man was handsome. He had actually taken her on her word and pursued her like a girl ought to. They went to a classic hotel that afternoon for their lunch. While there, they talk
The next day when she had come for work, she headed straight to his office. She had to get off with the apology and at least have some peace in her mind. Getting to the office, Enoch this time welcomed her more calmly than before. He did not eve stare at her anymore, almost as if he was bowing before her and giving her respect. Inside, she found Ryan seated, busy with his work. He looked so regal and royal as he sat there and focused on his work. His side profile, eye catching. She felt herself swallow as she looked at him. He raised his head, to meet her eyes. He still looked stern, and maybe a little angry at her after yesterday. “Good morning, sir” she said as she moved towards him. “Really, now we have come back to sir Leila?”Okay, now she did not even know what the hell was going on. “Um, I’m sorry about yesterday. I did not mean to insinuate that you are a liar. At that time, I did not even know what I was thinking. In as much
