Chapter 13 Awkward Moment

Resh’s POV

I woke up sweating profusely. I found it hard to breath earlier but I guess it was all part of the dream as I was breathing normally although a bit fast now.  It is that nightmare of drowning again. Although it is clear to me that my nightmares were not mere dreams but had happened in reality, it still had come to bug me.   

The light was dimmed but I could make out a figure in the sofa. Patrice? What was she doing in here? She wasn’t moving so I presumed she was sleep. I tried to get up to put a blanket on her forgetting that my arm had an  IV line connected to it. Somehow, the noise of the commotion I made woke her up.

“What are you doing?” She got up and walked towards me blinking her eyes sleepily.
