Chapter 27 Decided
With my height less than an inch from six feet and a muscular built and my wife at five feet three inches and pettite built, I was sure to crush into her if I were to fall over her. I tried to regain my balance in mid air and toppled over close to the table but my head still landing on Bridda's lap.
"The heck!" She screamed.
She immediately stood up and my head hit the edge of the couch.
"Oucchh!" escaped from my lips. She looked at me with a raised eye brow.
"Oh sorry," I think I was one with most injury but I was the one apologizing.
"I think I've had enough for you tonight." She sighed as she packed up her laptop and marched to her room.
Why do I get so clumsy with her today? It's a tiring day. Maybe I need rest and think of matters tomorrow.
The next day, while everyone was eating the breakfast I prepared, I made the announcement,
"Uhmm!" I cleared my throat. "I applied to Danovan Enterprise and I got the job."
