Chapter 26 - Clumsiness
I arrived home to see Bridda busy on her laptop still. She looked up, nod as I was closing the door, and went back to her laptop.
"Why still up?" I asked her. But I really meant to ask why she was outside her room.
"Why are you home just now?" She asked and stared at me for a moment while waiting for me to answer.
I believed I was the first one to ask but moments like this, it is hard to argue. "Uhmm, I asked Borj opinion on some matters. "
"I see... Don't worry, I was home before dinner time and ordered food delivery for everyone."
"Ohh dang! I forgot....I'm sorry! I was too busy I wasn't aware of the time." Nor did I even noticed I was hungry.
"Have you had yours?" She asked monotonously without looking away from her screen. Woow, is she concerned about me now?
