Chapter 03

"Aren't you going to talk Sia? Are you just going to keep quiet until my throat will dry? How many times do I have to tell you that mountain is dangerous, that monsters can enter. What am I supposed to do with you?" she scolded.

I was just sitting on the edge of the chair while playing with my fingers. Leia was the one who found me first when I was about to enter the castle, she was angry and now she's scolding me telling that I shouldn't be at ease when going to the mountain.

I know and I really didn't want to escape the castle, I just want that man to leave the castle before they found out.

"Finesia! Are you even listening?" she fumed her forehead while glaring at me.

"I'm sorry Leia, I will never do it again. I promise, " I swore.

She blinked emphatically before she flew back to the kitchen. She's just worried that monsters will eat me that's why I do not rebel from her scolding.

I will not escape again, I swear...

"You're here my lady, I was waiting for you."

I lifted the basket containing the food I prepared. He jumped from the tree and beamed as our eyes met. His azure pupil are strangely uncertain and speculative, his sclera were extraordinarily milky, and his iris resembles the sky-crystal being taken into a peaceful night because of how dreamy and compliant it is.

"My Lady, I'll help you."

I was certain that this man can stole the hearts of every women from the outside of the castle walls.

"You said you can only see my shadow, is it the same when you're seeing different things around you?" I asked.

He shook his head and let out a deep sigh. "I can see everything when it's night my lady."

There I quickly closed my eyes causing me to release the basket. I felt like my secret was found by an unknown man without struggles.

My eyes are special, no man can touch it. No man can take it, especially my powers.

"Calm down my lady, I'm no harm. I don't care about your eyes, you're beautiful just the way you are but my lady, your eyes were the most beautiful thing I've ever seen since the day I was born so please don't hide it."

Deep inside me, the incongruously bright of the core vision inside my eyes are somewhat trying to say that he's no harm, that my eyes are astonishingly impenetrable.

I slowly removed my hands covering my eyes. His uniformly azure eyes glued on my eyes that was burning by desire. We stared at each other until the cold air disturb us and cut off our long stare.

I immediately opened the basket and prepared the sandwich I made. "You can eat this, it's good especially with the taste of the sweet tomatoes." I gave him the sandwich and he accepted it with a smile on his lips.

I was staring at him while his lips are moving, chewing the sandwich in his mouth. His lips are daring and mischievous red moving firmly.

"Aren't you going to eat my lady?" Our eyes met again. He stopped from chewing and curved his lips on his side looking awkwardly, he looks embarrassed.

"I've already eaten," I answered to stop his worries and to make him continue his 'chewing the sandwich' scene.

Another thing is that I escaped the castle when my sisters are asleep already. I was bothered by my guilt that I left him without any food so I escaped again and now I'm here, staring at the man who looks embarrassed just because of my stare on his moving lips.

"Will you really wait for me till I grow up?" I asked to ease his embarrassment.

He nodded wide and innocent. "Until I got to marry you my lady."

My stomach feels like some butterflies are dancing with rythym. Did I ate edible insects too much that's why butterflies suddenly grew in my stomach?

"You can't do that, you can't marry someone like me because I am not normal. People will kill me if they saw my peculiarly haunting eyes."

He lowered the sandwich, the smile on his beautiful face was like a glacier among wildflowers around him and chilled me to the bone-simile.

"I will not let anyone hurt you my lady, since I am the only person you presented your astonished eyes—the most beautiful thing that cannot be compared."

Every words that came out from his mouth are mild but thoughtful, I wonder if it's true or a lie because even my vision beneath his eyes aren't able to see inside him.

What is his true colors? What does he think of me? Who is this person who suddenly appeared and beamed innocently? I wonder, if the world really wanted me to grasp the happiness, would my father allow this man to be a part of it?

Despite of having a blind eye in daylight his eyes are shockingly crystalline, not even the sapphire stone would compare his astonished pupil inviting me to stare longer.

It would be wonderful if this man is the real him, it's hard to trust people, it's hard to fall in love with the same flesh as the people who killed my mother.

They are the same said by Lily, they are mortals in appearance yet they're dangerous inside. They're greedy, lustful, and remorseless, they only think of  themselves.

It's already in the middle of the night when I was walking back to the castle, I heard a loud growl from the mountain. The ground suddenly moved and my eyes suddenly saw a vision of danger.

My eyes darken resembling the chaos. "Leonardo... " His name was the first thing I've spoke off before running back towards the mountain.

When I reached the mountain, the loud growl from a Darkrai monster, the one with the biggest size and large horns blow off a fire from his mouth and burned all the trees and flowers surrounding the mountain.

The Darkrai was near the big tree where Leonardo is staying. I was about to run again when suddenly I was lifted by the wind and float into the air.

"There's no way... " Lily stunned when her eyes darted on the Darkrai.

Leia and Lylia came and I saw fear from their eyes. It feels like they know something that I do not know.

"Let's escape before he smells us. Leia, run away together with Finesia. We must not let him see her, go now!"

I was about to protest when Leia imprisoned me inside the bubble and flew away from the mountain.

What is this? Why am I running away without them? We should run away together or they will die. I tried to knock the bubble but I stopped when I saw tears coming out from Leia's eyes.

"Flee back, run back, we are together, flying on the sky as the moon witness our smile~"

I heard her singing while flying together with me, inside this bubble.

We need to go back Leia, we need to save them! They will die, those vision I've seen will come true.

I tried knocking it off but it didn't pop off, I tried calling out her name but she didn't respond, she looked at me with a smile on her lips.

The smile I didn't want to see, a smile of saying goodbye.

Then a sudden vision suddenly appeared when our eyes met. She was looking at me while I was being thrown out on the cliff before the Darkrai clenched her body using its sharp heavy paw.

"No... " I whispered and tried to knock the bubble and call out for her, to let me out and be with her.

I don't want her to die, don't die! Don't die on me!

We reached the cliff and before I could open my eyes, she pushed the bubble on the cliff and I saw the same scenery of the vision.

"Leia... "
