Chapter 04

Her tears flowed like a river down her cheeks, trying to cease the bubble from disappearing—the only smell Leia left to her.

Her foes shake like a field of beaten corn, and pulled her hair repeatedly trying to take away the thorn with sorrow filling her heart.

Her eyes darken and the bright yellow crystal from her left eye faded as her inside filled with continues pain. Pressing her right eye while gripping her chest, a sudden vision appeared on her head.

A blind desire, which on warm moonlight was used to shake like fever in the veins of the man whom she remember, is futilely plaguing a gray fellow with the gray wraiths innumerable old griefs and with small stinging memories of long-dead delights.

It was the memory of someone named 'Leonardo' entered her deep sorrow into a survival.

Finesia suddenly seemed to be endowed with superhuman strength, for she run the long distance forest and reached the small village in the middle of the dark forest.

She heard a loud rythem horns and animal sounds accompanying the laughter like a chime of bells on the village.

She was observing, hiding on the tree to see the unfamiliar faces. She hissed when she saw how the man in 60's shoveled the head of the pitiful cow and feasts as the blood dripped on the ground.

Mortals are remorseless and greedy, that's what they told her. The fairies who raised her without wanting for anything instead, they died because of her.

She must not let any mortals to see her eyes, her eyes are hers to own. She must never trust anyone, never trust the kindness, never trust their appearance, and never trust their words.

She stepped back to run far from the village and find a shelter for her to stay in. The moon arise after the sun and witness her survival as she run deeply in the middle of the dark timid forest.

She heard a voice of two unknown mortals and tilted her head on the left direction 200 meters away from her. She jumped on the tree and cling on the branch to see the two people talking with each other.

"We can't do that Mariano, the captain would be mad if he found out about your illegal plan." The Lady said pursuading the man beside her.

She listened carefully to collect everything as she can to survive the world of mortals. She heard the man shrieked and dropped his tobacco on the ground. "That corrupt captain would never understand the struggles of poor people, we must stop from being a puppet to that old crazy man."

"But worshipping the Gods are against the law Mariano we cannot—"

"Yes we can Jeneva, Gods are powerful. They can stop this terrible monarchies, we can't just stay like this, pleading to take a thumb of a rice to eat."

They both stunned when Finesia jumped from the tree. The both of them looked a little shock of surprise as their eyes darted on the young lady suddenly jumped from the long big tree.

The first thing they saw were the unique eyes. Her right eye were exceedingly sparkling like an ocean scenery from the center of the moon's reflection, her left eye was opposite from how beautiful her right eye is—wide and miserable.

They both stepped back when Finesia suddenly moved. "W-who a-are y-you?" The man with the name Mariano weren't able to hide his stutter from asking the unknown young lady's identity.

"I am they call the Sinner, the daughter of the God born from the mortal's womb. I heard your whimpers about the monarchs you say and speak the God's name, I am one of them— daughter of the Creator."

They were in the middle of doubting but Finesia whom possess the power of Divinity struck the tree on their left side using the thunder came from the sky.

"You see, I'm not a patient child, I don't like being under on a mortal's feet. If you can help me to get what I want, I will give you anything you desire." That's what she believes, that mortals are greedy for anything they wanted to have.

The two mortals gawk at her before the lady let out a sorrowful expression. "Even Gods cannot give back my daughter who died from the plague."

Finesia who was in her half-closed mind mused when she heard the sorrow from the lady and realized that one thing that she doesn't possess was to make the dead alive.

That's why she weren't able to stop the death of the three fairies, the ones she truly cherished.

The Lady named Jeneva brought back Finesia to her house, she prepared a well-suited cloths for her and make a tasty food to fill her stomach.

Mariano, his brother prepared a bucket of water for Finesia to take a bath. They weren't sure as to how did a child live with an eyes peculiarly different from a normal human.

She heard the story of the noble from the House Laurier that they worships the Gods and one of the daughter gave birth to a God's daughter.

They say it died together with the whole family but seeing the mysterious child in front of her is just too unbelievable that the daughter of God was already gone.

"Is it fine for you to wear this?" She examined the white small dress before showing it to her. She bought it for her daughter but it died before wearing it.

"I'm fine with anything," said by Finesia agreeing to wear the white dress.

She smiled and left the small room for her to change quickly. Even having a peculiar eyes, the sadness and suffering in her inside is just too visible especially when you look closely on her left eye.

It was unusually dark.

"Are you really going to keep her? My house is totally vacant, only goats are making sounds but it's fine." Mariano filled the tub with bucket of water before turning his head on his sister's direction.

"It's fine, she's a girl so I can take care of her." Jeneva didn't want anyone to see her especially her eyes, it's too dangerous for the child to be seen outside. Mariano's house aren't far away from the village where people of the forest lives.

They must be careful before anything happens to the child—the daughter of God they truly believes.
