Chapter Twenty One

He let go of Arielle and walked up to his sister. She was warmer now

“She is going to be okay but she needs rest. She should be awake tomorrow morning but she will be extremely weak” Sally said

“How do you know so much about these things?” Damian asked her

“Because I tried to bring back someone I lost. I had an elder sister and I almost got my mom killed trying to bring her back. Starting to think I made a mistake” she said

“Why?” Arielle asked

“Why I feel it was a mistake? Well, I chose my Mom over my elder sister and now my mom is dead. Either ways, my mom was supposed to die. Maybe if I had chosen my elder sister, I wouldn’t be alone” she said

“You are not alone. You’ve got dad and Mom. Mist importantly, you’ve got me. You have a whole new family and family stick together” Damian said as he held her shoulder

She looked at him and smiled. She was glad that he was warming up to her. Alex kissed his sister’s forehead

“I am so sorry. I don’t know if I can ever make it up to you”
