Chater 230.1 Entering the Old House

Finally, the owner of Maxine’s old house decided to sell it back to her. And so, the first thing that Maxine did when she came back was to go to that old house.

Maxine brought her necklace and her mother’s necklace which turned like a key. When they arrived inside, they looked for a locked door where they would use the key.

The last owner said that there was an underground place in the house that they failed to open. They tried to smash the door, but none of it worked, so they just left it untouchable for many years. Hearing that, Maxine decided to visit the underground place together with Isaac.

Isaac looked at Maxine who was holding the key. Unlike before, her eyes were filled with determination.

Maxine tried the key she was holding and with just one swipe, the door unlocked.

Isaac’s eyes widened. Perhaps Maxine didn’t see it, but he saw a spell around the door.

‘The reason why they could not open it was because it has Mage’s spell,’ Isaac thought.
