Rylin's POV

It's been over a month of having her here and she's still struggling with everything. I hoped she would cope better knowing she had a pack behind her. I guess growing up in the human society she didn't feel the sense of security as we did with that reassurance. She's amazing though, more power than I've felt through any Alpha and she just now proved she was by shifting before her 18th birthday. Her wolf was beautiful White as snow fur with silver tints to the back and her purple eyes glistening even bigger. She was truly mesmerizing. I wonder if she felt the bond yet. It's been driving me crazy since the day I laid eyes on her. Not the way I hoped I'd be meeting my mate and probably not a very good impression but it was something for the story books.

She has to be having a hard time gathering all this new information and trying to understand herself now that she has learned who she truly is. I couldn't imagine being poisoned everyday by my own mother just to suppress her
