Rylin's POV

Kali walks towards the council room as I walk down towards the cellar to the tunnel entrance where I was going to meet Gunther.

I tried to make a game plan. Trying to understand why he was showing up two days early and now knowing what possibly might happen at the species council. I had to figure out something.

I continue to think of ways to talk my way out of this, then my mind goes to Amy. I have to bring her home safe but I fear she may already be gone and his deal is just bogus.

I get to the tunnel entrance and right then I hear his nails scratching on the walls. It was like nails on a chalk board sending shivers down my spine. He crackled a laugh out.

"Ahh Mate you came and alone I see. Good,good."

His low crackle of a voice echoed through the tunnel. I realized then he wasn't alone. I heard others breathing in the back.

"I see you didn't though. Seems a little unfair."

He laughs it off," Ahhh well you see, I'm here to make a statement. You know all about that."
