I checked my reflection in the mirror. I was wearing a spaghetti strap green gown with a side slit. The silk was heaven against my skin. The woman in the mirror didn’t look like me at all. She looked rich and classy, something I wasn't. It's amazing how a piece of cloth can change personas. I moved side to side to inspect my whole appearance.

“You look stunning,” I heard Cora. I smiled when I saw her standing at the door. She walked in. She was wearing a light maroon gown and looked very graceful in it.

“Ready for the night?” she asked me. I nodded, a little nervous. Tonight they were celebrating Moonstone’s merger with their own pack. It will mark the monopoly of Zavion over all the other packs and alphas.

"Here, wear it," Cora held her hand out to me. I looked down to notice she was holding a pair of studs. They were lovely. I then glanced up at her, a little hesitance.

"How can I.."

"Just take this already and put them on. They will look lovely with your dress," she urged m
