SHANBRI POV

I felt bad going into the staff room. I feel as if my heart is breaking because of the overwhelming grief that the truth has caused me.

"Accept it, Shanbri. You are done and will never be able to return to what was before." I just tried to convince myself to reduce the pain I feel now.

I didn't realize that there were tears already falling from my eyes so I quickly wiped them away with my finger.

"Are you okay, Shanbri? Why did you leave?” I was surprised by Kenj's sudden arrival in the staff room.

I frowned at him because I didn't know why he followed me here, especially since he knew that his wife was also here. He might see us again and start another trouble.

“What are you doing here, Kenj? Go back to your wife." I immediately pushed him away and secretly rolled my eyes at him.

"She's gone. I mean, I asked Tyrone to escort her to the nearest hospital so that she can get checked by a doctor," it was a simple response that raised my eyebrows.
