Ryan called Inspector Kim several times already. However, that woman never responded to his calling. Ryan's brows touted in a crooked line. He tried again for the nth time but to no avail.
"Chief, she left her phone in the car." Yohan raised a phone above his head. His number had been ringing nonstop on the other phone's screen.
Ryan lets out a disgruntled grunt. He took out his walkie-talkie and switched it on.
"Inspector Kim, can you respond back to me? Inspector Kim? Could you..." A loud blaring sound is reverberating in the air, almost deafening their ears. They instinctively covered their ears, shielding the precious organs from being defiled by the loud crackling vibration on the other side of the line. They cringed, ears twitching in discomfort.

Detective Su crouched in front of Ryan. He lowered his body so he could make eye contact with him. "Or, is this about the finding of the newest victim?" Ryan squeezed his eyes shut. He disregarded his senior's inquiry. Right now, his head is hurt.

Ryan had a fever, and as the temperature spiked up to the point of endangering himself, the doctor in charge gave him an IV drip through an injection needle. She reminded Su Tae Hyung to give the medicine as soon as he awoke. Then, she went out to do her other duty. Su Tae Hyung grabbed the unmoving hand. The palm was too warm to his liking, and he mindlessly kneaded that flesh. Ryan's body emanated warmness. Additionally, the temperature became hotter and hotter as time ticked by, and Su Tae Hyung felt distressed about his worrisome state. It has been two hours. The fever should be gone by now. Yet, Ryan seemed uncomfortable in his sleep, and sometimes, a whimper of pain came out from his parted mouth. Beads of sweats adorned his forehead, and Ryan seemed restless this entire time.
