All the previous giddiness Ethan had been feeling left him immediately after his dad made the announcement he just did. What his dad had just indirectly said was that the weight of the company now rested on their shoulders.

Whether they were going to make it out of this unscathed like his father had promised the rest of the employees was now up to them. Ethan found himself shrinking at the weight of this responsibility.

Damien was just a mess as much as Ethan was at the moment, the only difference was that Ethan managed to compose himself well while Damien on the other hand was already freaking out.
