Epilogue

Four Years Later

I sat nervously in the chair that was set up on the stage, and although I had this huge smile plastered on my face, no one could tell that I was nervous, well there was one person who could anyway, and he was seated in the front row with our two-year-old son, Aiden.

I looked up at him and he smiled at me and mouthed the words "Breathe." Just like that, the thickness that had lodged itself in my chest dissipated and I felt like I could breathe again.

"Thank you." I mouthed back to him and he smiled and went back to cuddling our baby in his arms.
