Chapter One Hundred and Seventy-Three

Before Kaden could make another move, a group of moonshine pack warriors emerged from the trees, surrounding Kaden.

They tackled him to the ground, binding his hands and feet with heavy iron chains.

Kaden struggled against his restraints, but it was no use.

His eyes flashed with anger and a hint of fear as he looked up at the moonshine warriors.

"Don't hurt her," he growled, his eyes flicking to Jessica.

"As if we would," Zane said in amusement. "We need her alive to lure the other rogues to us."

Jessica felt a knot tightening in her stomach.

She had never been so nervous her entire life. "What...what do you mean?" She stuttered.

Zane's eyes flashed with anger. "Isn't it obvious?

You're going to lure the other rogues here so we can capture them." He snarled, his fangs flashing in the moonlight.

"But how?" She whispered, horrified.

"Don't worry, we'll think of something," he said, a cruel smile spreading across his lips.

"No! You don't understand, if they find out they'll kill me!"
