Chapter:-55

The drive to Ash  modern house in the posh suburb at the edge of the city was all-but silent. Ash was leaning against the car door, his forehead pressed to the cool glass of the window. He was so hot and Alex worried eyes never leaving him for even a second didn’t help.

Sweat was pooling along the line of his spine, beading at his hairline, spreading across his collarbones. He’d tossed his jacket onto the seat between them as soon as they’d gotten into the back. He’d loosened his tie and unbuttoned the top of his shirt, but he was still burning up.

When they pulled up the front drive, Ash hand flopped down onto the door handle. He wasn’t sure if opening it was the best idea. With his luck he’d topple out onto the pavement.

Ash head lolled away from the window. His hooded eyes falling on Alex.

“Alex…” he drawled.

Ash didn’t even have to finish his thought. Immediately, Alex got out of the car and came around to Ash side. He opened the
