Fuoco stopped in her tracks and took a step back to confirm what she saw was right or not. She felt that she saw something white which looked like a paper so it was important to check if she was correct or just imagining things. As she looked on, she noticed a printed white sheet lying near the recycle bin. At first, Fuoco thought it must be some rough paper and decided to ignore it but after walking a few steps, she couldn't resist herself. She came back to have a look at it once in order to be sure. Fuoco knew the information in those files was very important as they were confidential files and even a single page of information from it could cause problems for the company, if landed in wrong hands. So, she was not going to take a risk and therefore, decided to go and check it. She went near that page and bend down to pick it up. It had a watermark that said it was confidential and after seeing it, Fuoco was sure that it was one of the pages from those files that geeky guy was carryi
Fuoco knew reading a confidential report without permission was against their protocol and doing so could put her in a difficult situation with Stocks group. She could be thrown out if the dark knight club and could be imposed with a heavy fine. They can also file a legal law suit against her for breaching the terms and conditions mentioned in her contract as it was one of the condition mentioned in her contract with the dark knight club when she joined it. Initially, She had no intentions of breaking it. She took this step because she harboured good intentions towards the corporation. Fuoco decided to go through the content of that printed paper which dropped from that heap of confidential files the geeky guy was carrying because she had a reason for doing so. A thought had crossed her mind when she was walking towards the cafeteria...... What if that man had knowingly dropped it? What if he was trying to tell me something but couldn't because someone was keeping an eye on him? What
Natalie Samrat aka Fuoco had understood something was going to happen that day which was related to the transportation of goods from the nearby port of Stocks group. She needed time to decode the whole information and it was not a good idea to do it while walking in the corridor. She neatly folded that paper multiple times until it was small enough to fit the back pocket of her trousers. She quickly stuffed it in her back pocket and walked away as if nothing happened. When she was about to reach the cafeteria, she typed a message and send it to Joe. When she entered the small cafeteria area, all the three men (Zieve, Nick and Stephen) looked in her direction from their seats, together. She pulled on a fake smile in response and went to the juice counter. She ordered a glass of mixed fruit juice and begin to wait for it.She was having her back towards the table where all the three men were sitting and she could feel a burning gaze on her back even without looking at them. She knew it
Fuoco and Zieve were looking intimate as Fuoco appeared to be sitting in Zieve's lap while the latter was holding her tightly with his arms wrapped around her. Fuoco gulped the lump that had formed in her throat as she tried to find words to explain herself. She opened her mouth to speak something but she heard Zieve's words before that telling her to be careful. His tone wasn't that of being mad at her but very soft and full of concern. Fuoco nodded her head and put on an awkward smile. She quickly got up from his lap and looked around to check if there was anyone who had seen them in that position. Fortunately, there was no one in the vicinity and she let out a sigh of relief. Then, she quickly went and sat on her chair next to Zieve. Zieve was also overwhelmed by this sudden crash landing of her in his lap. It won't be wrong to say that he didn't felt bad with this incident and on the contrary he was feeling good because it was visible on his face that his mood improved after it. H
About Fifteen minutes ago, When Fuoco had left the cafeteria to get some air making the excuse of bringing herself some juice , all of the three men (Stephen, Nick and Zieve) had read the irritation written all over her face. Nick tried to accompany her but she denied and he didn't persuade her because he somewhat understood her situation. Later Fuoco made an excuse of going to the washroom and got out of the sight of those three men who were waiting for her to return back to the table. An awkward silence filled the atmosphere and none of the three spoke anything to break it. Nick was also feeling stuck and wasn't sure how Zieve would react but surprisingly, Zieve acted normally and asked the two of them to begin eating. Stephen wanted to wait for Fuoco to return but Nick forcefully placed food in his plate and he had no option left but to eat. Nick wanted to place some food in Zieve's plate too but he signalled him to stop. Ironically, Zieve who had asked both of them to eat wasn't e
Nick ignored what he saw thinking as his imagination because they all knew about Stephen. They have checked his track record before coming to that Unit in Wheatley. He was considered to be an honest man and was made a Manager of that unit despite considering the fact that it he was not associated with Stocks group from a long time. Generally, to get to the position he has been holding one must work in the Stocks group for atleast about Seven to Eight years, Whereas Stephen had joined Stocks group only three years back. He was sent there as a junior but as he was lucky enough to get up the ladder pretty soon. His track records were clean and he was considered to be polite with everyone. He was hardworking and had solved many cases single handedly. The only thing that appeared odd was the fact his seniors either took early retirement or died mysteriously. Zieve and his team weren't blind and they tried to figure out if he was linked to this development in any possible way. They thorough
Zieve's blunt response made Nick look back at him in surprise. For the first time he felt that their plan could be in danger as Zieve's behaviour could cause others to doubt them because he was acting like Zieve Stocks, the boss of the company not like the employee he was supposed to be. His behaviour was not in line with the post that has been mentioned on their identity cards considering the fact they were facing the Manager of that Unit. Under their current identities, they were junior to Stephen and despite the fact that they were sent from the Dark knight club in Toronto, they should behave, accordingly. Nick coughed a little to indicate Zieve to stop. Zieve didn't paid attention to him and continued with his work. Nick looked at Stephen who was looking at Zieve with a different expression, now. It was clear that he had begin to doubt Zieve's identity. Nick pulled Stephen's attention towards himself and distracted him from the current topic.By this time, Fuoco was back and all t
Fuoco fell into a deep thought as she looked at the man sitting in front of her. Sometimes she felt as if he hadn't changed at all in the past seven years and sometimes she feels she doesn't know him at all as if he is someone else. He had also gone through a lot following the Samrat family's tragedy and fuoco is thankful that atleast there is someone in this world who hadn't forgotten her and her family. His grey eyes still holds the power to comfort her. Sometimes, it was difficult for her to read them yet according to her, in the present times they were the most expressive part of him. He had rightly guessed that she was in a dilemma a moment ago, just like how he used to guess seven years ago. Seven years ago also he was the only friend of her who understood her more than her own self and seven years later too, he might not be able to recognise her but he was able to recognise that she was in a mental fight. Fuoco felt as if she was getting crushed under the weight of her own gui
