Chapter-21

I kept myself locked in my room all day.

I was trying too much to calm my heart, but my thoughts were making me distressed.

I didn’t know what to do or how to control my emotion.

It was all bizarre.

At night, I heard a knock in my room and I was not in the mood to open the door.

But the person was stubborn and continuously knocked on my door, making me irritated.

“Who is this?” I snapped.

“Your mom.” I heard my mom’s voice and get up from the bed.

I run inside the bathroom splash water on my face and make myself presentable.

My face was looking like a zombie's. Red, swollen eyes, puffy face, disheveled hair.

When I thought she wouldn’t get any clue, then I open the door.

“Mom, what are you doing here?” I asked, trying to hold a fake smile on my face. I didn’t want to make her worried.

She was already troubled by her problem; I didn’t want to give her mine, too.

But she entered the room, and someone entered beside her.

I noticed it was a pack member who work in the pack house.
