Angela's eyes snap in the direction of the door when it shot open. Nikaulas barged in and dashed straight towards the severely injured driver. His men stepped away. "Who were they?" he demanded from the driver who was sprawled on the sofa with his eyes half closed. The driver had a hazy consciousness due to the pain and couldn't answer his question. He opened the door and was instantly flooded by her signature scent. Not realising, he closed his eyes and inhaled the air deeply, letting every cell of his being soak into her dewy scent.
