Chapter 3

Daisie POV

 After we finished eating lunch. I cleared out all the plates and returned them back to the washing basin.

“ So can we discuss now, Jessica?” I asked, as I picked up the plate cleanser. Pouring it steadily on the dirty dishes.

“ I had some more job left to be done, but I couldn’t. And they have been complaining a lot. Since you told me you would join me and you are done with school for now I was hoping you do them,” Jessica said, focusing at my eyes. “ They are mainly at night. But you won’t be staying two long, it would just be two hours only, Daisie.” she said politely, as if she wasn’t doing all these jobs because of me.

“ Do you want me to be in charge of the ones at night?” I asked.

“ Yes, can you Daisie?” her eyes are too cute when she speaks politely, they make my heart melt.

“ YES OF COURSE!” I said, happily. I would do anything to support this beautiful soul.

I didn’t tell you what the job is all about yet. My aunt does laundry and house cleaning for almost everyone in the pack and they pay her 15 to 20 dollars per day. That income is too low right? That is why I would be joining her so we could have at least enough cash to survive.

When I had been schooling she has two shift in a day. That’s she works twice a day, and that is mostly in the morning and at night. Sometimes at night she works by 12 to 1am into the early morning. We sometimes consider it as night because by then the night becomes darker and quieter.

She does this work for our living and most especially to take care of me. I have no choice but would gladly take over from her night shift.

“ Don’t worry aunt. I would start doing the night shift from now on, and you would do the day okay?” I said blissfully, I was almost done with the dishes. And the night has fallen.

Tomorrow I would begin my job. I will just have to rest tonight. I had just ended my exams, tonight would be my night to rest then from tomorrow I would start working.

“ You are the sweetest niece ever, Daisie! You remind me of my twin sister.” she engulfed me into a tight hug and began kissing me like a puppy would.

“ And you are the sweetest aunt ever!” I chuckled.

There wasn’t enough food for dinner, so we both went to bed that way, with an empty stomach. Instead we would preserve it for breakfast or lunch. Either of them.

I walked to my room diving on my bed, while I shut out the light. Miler wasn’t still out of my head, I was still hoping he would show up. And I can’t stop having high hopes about it. Maybe he would come or maybe he won’t. The thought swam through out in my head, until I let sleep take me.

The morning came as a blur. The first sound waking me up, was Jessica’s voice. “ She’s eighteen hurray!!” I blinked my eyes open with a smile as beautiful as the morning.

She told me to blow out the candle from the little cake she made. I was so stunned she made cake for me, honestly this was more than enough surprise for me. We didn’t have enough money to feed but she had to squeeze some out to make cake for me? Oh my goodness, I blushed uncontrollrably.

“ Holy Moly! Jessica I love fucking you!!” I rushed out of the bed, planting not just a kiss on her head but a thousands of kisses. This was so beautiful.. she even wrote my name on it. I wanted to cry, the love was so massive…

“ This is so special Jessica, I love it.” I kissed her again.

“ Well, that is just the cake. Wait for the present okay?’’ she winked, I continued to smile. At the same time, I was paying attention to the door if Miler would show up too. Jessica had already made it special for me but if Miler should show up, it would be like a dream come true!

“ Okay, time to close your eyes Daisie…” she whispered behind me. The two of us were still on our night wears, and I was kind of still on my bed.

“ OKay…” I cackled biting on my lips..

Jessica ran her hands around my nape, as she pulled my hair off my bare neck. Then I felt something like necklace around my neck. When she was done she told me I could open my eyes now. OMG, I screamed!

“ DJ !! this is so beautiful…” I screamed, she made the necklace with the beginning of both our names . This is so special, this means a lot!

I stood up kissing her so much. Didn’t realize tears falling from my eyes already. I couldn’t wish for a better aunt…

I scanned through the porch countless things, hoping to see Miler. I guess he was really serious, he wasn’t going to come and he was travelling..

I waited till it was getting into dusk.. then I finally made up my mind that Miler was not coming anymore.

The time was 7pm already, and I started hearing some noise all over the pack. And yeah, I would be seeing my wolf today as well..

“ Aunt why is there so much noise out side?” I asked, I was leaning on the couch with a book in my hand. Jessica has just returned back from her shift.

“ Did you forget tonight is the mating gathering? Lucky for you, you will see your mate tonight after the full moon rises.” she planted a kiss on my head walking into the kitchen. I needed more explanation so I ran after her.

“ Mating gathering?” I asked, one brow climbed up my face.

“ YES, the full moon.” she said. Well I guess we were not going to attend, we were poor and we don’t very much include in the pack activities.

“ Okay, anyway I would be in my night shift by then.” I said, I also heard the full moon comes about twelve or so. But well that’s none of my business, If I’m lucky today I would find my mate.

The day was getting gradually dark and I was preparing to resume work for the first time. Jessica said I would start with the Beta’s house and that would be my very first job and he would be my very first client..

I was already in his mansion. The house was so big and everything looks so beautiful unlike, the old furniture in our house. I almost forgot the purpose I came here for, I had started touching everything I see as beautiful and glorious.

“ Honey, come out quickly! We have to start going now,” I heard a soft female voice beside the aisle in the room I had gotten lost into. “ Bruno! We would be late, come out quickly.” she said.

“ Babe, I would come shortly. You can go ahead I have somethings to handle.” he said, I hid at a corner so any of them won’t see me. He is the beta and there are always busy with tasks, going up and down for the Alpha.

I sneaked out from my hiding place, running into the kitchen. It was so much messed up and I have to begin with that. The day was slowly getting dark, hoping when the time clocks 12 I would go out to search for my mate. And when I’m back I would continue my cleaning from where I stopped. The time was just eleven, I have an hour left to get some things done.

I began cleaning after fetching water from the tap. I packed up all the dirty dishes and landed them on the washing bay. When I finished up mopping the floor, I would then start washing the dishes.

A LOUD celebration bombed from outside, then I knew it was twelve already. I left all I was doing then started to run out of the kitchen so I could go out in the crowd to search for my mate… It was the mating gathering and my mate destined by the moon goddess is certainly out there! I haven’t been much excited about finding mates, but now I don’t know where this energy is coming from with so much excitement to meet my mate..

I have to find mine! Jessica said, when I find my mate I won’t be lonely anymore and I would certainly feel different!

Everyone was celebrating and worshipping the full moon. I peeped through the window in the kitchen, some females screaming mates! Some are even shifting for the first time!

Wait and me? Why am I not shifting yet? Why haven’t I heard any sound of my wolf? I do have right? Of course, every werewolf does and they meet their wolf when they mostly clock eighteen… I tried to convince myself enough..

Few minutes later. “ Daisie!! Run, run for your life girl. I am Sarah, your wolf!” my wolf screamed out, first I was filled with excitement that I truly had, but why does she wants me to run? What does she mean about running for my life?

“ Daisie ! run, you are about to be in danger!” she warned, fighting on the inside of me. Okay, I have to do what she says.. I don’t know what she meant but I just have to obey!..

I took off the apron, running towards the kitchen door. As I was about to step out, I felt something strange inside of me. Something like heat, so much heat inside. And some strange odd smell, I couldn’t tell where that was coming from, was it me? Haha.. no it can’t, I shook my head..

Some guys walking towards the kitchen maybe to get a glass of water, suddenly locked eyes with me. I mean the four of them , and suddenly they began running to towards me.. screaming “ MAte.. mate.. mate…” I didn’t understand what that meant, and I didn’t even understand what was going on with me anymore..

 They began to scream.. as they reached me, one gripped me on my gown as though he was planning to ripped my clothe off me… He wasn’t the only one.. the four of them,… dragging me…

“ Leave me be please!” one trying to tear off my clothes and down to my pants.. what was going on ? I was on the fringe of crying. Confusion swimming and swirling in my head..

I fought against their strong hands, fighting to take off my gown out of their clutched claws. Thank goodness I was till in the kitchen, I pushed them off me with the little strength I have. I slammed the door so tight behind me, locking the door..

I began inhaling and exhaling frantically hard.. What the heck just happened? My heart beat was beyond normal, they were still hitting the door so hard as if they were trying to break through the door. What just happened? Why are they attracted to me?

 I was quite confuse and still don’t understand. I was suppose to go out and find my mates.. But not me seeing some males calling me mates and fighting to have me? What was going on?
