Adrian’s POV

Being the mate who recently got accepted by his mate, it really made me feel upset to know that she still does have confidence in me. When he stuttered and denied to tell the truth, it felt like my heart was going to shatter into million pieces. I would have understood it before when she said she is ready to give us a chance but after her being ready to give herself to me without any fear, I saw the confidence in her eyes towards me. But, now after what happened that confidence just broke into million pieces.

“I said it is nothing serious, why don’t you trust me?” She said making me sneer as even Hunter started growling in my head. He was not pissed at the beginning as he believed her when she said nothing serious is there but after seeing her not making eye contact with us, and even after being asked so many times he too started feeling the same as me.
